You read that right… THE Jeanette Lee "The Black Widow" will be at Chalk & Steel Co. for the inaugural Texas 8 Ball Queen Championship on February 6th & 7th, 2027!!! You’ll have a chance to play a rack against her, receive an autograph, and leave having learned a thing or two from the queen of pool herself.

LaShae, founder and organizer of the Texas 8 Ball Queen Championship, has partnered with Chalk & Steel Co. to host the inaugural 2027 Texas 8 Ball Queen Championship in Keller, Texas. Billiard's icon and APA Ambassador Jennette Lee, "The Black Widow," will crown the first-ever Texas 8 Ball Queen. This will create one of the most exciting women's billiards events Texas has ever seen.
The championship will be held at Chalk & Steel Co. in Keller, Texas, conveniently located just 15 miles from DFW International Airport, with a Hampton Inn & Suites hotel located one mile away for traveling players and guests. Throughout the weekend, Jennette Lee will be available for photos, meet-and-greets, exhibition matches, and exclusive challenge matches with attendees. Women from any state are welcome to compete, regardless of skill level, Fargo Rating, or APA ranking, making this a truly open championship for female players across the country.
Registration is $220 per player, a valid government-issued photo ID is required for check-in and participation. Every competitor will receive a Taom V10 chalk to use throughout the tournament, compliments of the event's official chalk sponsor. The championship will be played under WPA rules, with Fargo reporting, professional referees, and new 7-foot Diamond Pro-Am tables to provide a first-class competitive experience.

The projected prize fund already exceeds $10,000, and the purse is expected to continue growing as additional sponsors come on board before the event. Players and spectators can look forward to multiple premium raffle prizes, including a $600 McDermott cue and case giveaway, along with exciting Break & Run competitions throughout the weekend. Visitors and spectators are encouraged to participate in the Break & Runs, prize raffles, and the opportunity to meet Jennette Lee in person.

During breaks between matches, attendees can also enjoy on-site Botox treatments and IV hydration services provided by one of the championship's official partners. Professional photography, professional pool commentary, and live streaming will capture every memorable moment, allowing fans across the country to follow the action live. Whether you're competing for the title or simply enjoying an incredible weekend of women's billiards, the inaugural Texas 8 Ball Queen Championship promises an experience unlike any other. Visitors are encouraged to participate in the prize raffle and break and run drawings.

After a lot of hard work, support from our community, and a unanimous approval from Keller City Council, we're excited to finally introduce ourselves.
