🌺✨ As we close the chapter on Nā Keiki O Ke Kai’s summer program, our hearts are filled with gratitude for the incredible journey we’ve shared over the past month. Together, we’ve immersed ourselves in the beauty of Hawaiian culture and the vital stewardship of our ocean and island. To our amazing keiki, you are the future, and we couldn’t be prouder of all that you have accomplished. Your curiosity, kindness, and dedication to learning are truly inspiring! 🌊🌿 This Ohana embodies the aloha spirit, reminding us of the importance of love, respect, and connection to one another and our environment. 🌊🐋 On Tuesday, June 24, our Nā Keiki O Ke Kai had an unforgettable morning at the Hawaiian Humpback Whale Sanctuary! They explored the wonders of whales and sea life, even getting a chance to go inside a blow-up whale! 🎉 Huge Mahalo to @hihumpbackwhalenms 🐋 While the kids were diving into ocean adventures, our parents enjoyed a special lei-making class to create beautiful graduation leis for their keiki’s big day on Thursday. 🌺 It was a day filled with fun, learning, and wonderful experiences for everyone involved! 💙 #KeikiOKeKai #HawaiianWhaleSanctuary #SummerFun #LeiMaking #ChildrenOfTheSea

🌊✨ What a fantastic Tuesday morning we had out on the water! The sun was shining, and the energy was high as we dove into a fun-filled morning of learning and laughter. Mahalo for the safety awareness talk by Auntie Savitri. It was also wonderful watching these children of the sea embrace teamwork and timing while paddling. The Opelu crews did a great job learning to steer! We have success in all our youth feeling more comfortable swimming in the ocean which leads to confidence and appreciation, all good stuff. 🐬 As we paddled together in canoes, we created more memories while strengthening our bonds. But the highlight of the day? The beloved Moon Chant Hand Game! 🎶 Our Opelu (older) keiki took the lead, teaching it to the manini’s, and it was an absolute hit! So proud of them! A huge shoutout to all our amazing parents and volunteers who made this day possible! Your support and enthusiasm truly make a difference. Great job, everyone! Let's get ready for a spooktacular Halloween celebration from 5-7:30 PM in front of Nalu’s at Azeka’s Halloween Trunk or Treat! 🎃✨ We’d love your help to transform our canoe with decorations, and if you get any Ti or flower lei’s, they’d be greatly appreciated too! We'll be there at 3pm to set up.

Dress up in costumes and join our special guests, Moana and Maui, aboard our wooden voyaging canoe filled with with candy! 🍬🛶 Bring your friends and family to Azeka Shopping Center for an evening of fun and fright on October 31st. Enjoy a delightful treat-filled adventure as you stroll between creatively decorated Maui Classic Cruisers. Plus, don’t miss out on the chance to snap some photos and get autographs from the amazing Nalu's Race Team!
