The 50th Annual Fall Classic just wrapped up early bird registration with 158 fighters signed up — a new record.

Prices have gone up slightly, but there’s still plenty of time to register for this historic event. Grapplers, kickboxers, and point fighters from across the Southeast are heading to Knoxville on October 24.

Our first seed is in — and it’s a big one 🦅 TFC50 just got even bigger. We’re proud to announce our first confirmed seeded fighter for the Men’s 16+ No Gi Absolute: Thomas Nelson (Thomas Nelson) of Memento Combat Sports (Memento Combat Sports), who will hold the number 1 seed.

Thomas isn’t just a great addition to the bracket — he’s the most decorated grappling athlete in Classic Combat history, holding more grappling absolute titles than any competitor who’s ever stepped on our mats. As we celebrate 50 years of Classic Combat, there’s no one more fitting to kick off our seeded Absolute lineup.

Who’s ready to see him defend his legacy on October 24th? Tag someone who should enter to challenge him!

New Combat Division Alert 🚨 Kids Wrestle To Mount!

We’re excited to introduce a brand-new kids’ division at The Fall Classic! 🏆

🔹What is it? A no-submission grappling match — competitors battle to reach the mount position and hold it for 3 full seconds to win.

🔹 Who’s it for? Perfect for beginners and young grapplers who are just starting their journey — no submission experience needed!

🔹 Gi or No-Gi? Both welcome! Kids can compete in whichever they’re most comfortable in.

This division is all about building confidence, learning positional control, and having fun on the mats. 💪

If have a young martial artist who wants to try grappling but isn’t ready for a full match, then this is perfect division for them.

Last year Kris Leach from United Karate Studios (United Karate Studios Dalton) took the home women’s kickboxing absolute! Who will the 🦅 at TFC50?
