LaGrange Academy Softball

What a way to finish the 2024 softball season with a 8-0 win over Westwood. Kaylee McAllister was the winning pitcher striking out 13 and only allowing to hits. Liza Price and Layla Hendrick were 2-3 and Ava Edelson, Avery Vaughn, Emery Wetzel, Kaylee McAllister all had hits. Lady Warriors finished the season
with 10 wins and only two losses.

Lady Warriors improve to 9-1 after a 11-4 win on the road against Calvary Christian.Avery Vaughn was 4-4, Ava Edelson was 2-4, Layla Hendrick, Kinsley Burgess, Kaylee McAllister and Whitley Wetzel
were 2-3. Kaylee McAllister was the winning picture striking out 12 and allowing only 4 hits.

The Lady Warriors improved to
8-1 with a 20-6 victory over home standing Flint River. At the plate Ava Edelson, Liza Price, Avery Vaughn, Layla Hendrick, Emery Wetzel, Kinsley Burgess, Kayla McAllister and Whitley Wetzel all had singles. Avery Vaughn was the winning pitcher allowing 4 hits while striking out 7. Total a team effort today.
Tuesday the Lady Warriors travel to Calvary for a 5:00 pm
game.

After suffering their first loss of the season Monday, the Lady Warriors responded with convincing 12-0 victory over Brookstone today. Kaylee McAlister was the winning pitcher throwing a complete game No-Hitter with 6 strikeouts. At the plate Avery Vaughn was3-3 with a triple and Ava Edelson was 2-2. Special congratulations to Isabella Michell for her first base hit of her career. Lady Warriors improve to 7 and 1 and visit Flint River tomorrow at 4:30

Congratulations to the Lady Warriors. They defeated Rock Springs 6-2 today. Kaylee McAlister was the winning pitcher and also contributed at the plate with a home run and a single.
Ava Edelson had a home run, while Whitley Wetzel and Layla Hendrick were 2 for 3. Lady Warriors improve to 5-0. Great road win!

Extra inning walk off win, on a day we honored Coach Sam and his father. Now 4-0 on the season. Kaylee McAlister was the winning pitcher and Ava Edelson was 3-3. Kinsley Burgess had a rbi single that tied the game in the bottom of the 6th. The winning run occurred when Layla Hendrick walked with the bases loaded.

Congratulations to Avery Vaughn. She was named LaGrange Daily News player of the week for her no-hit pitching performance against St. Luke.

Congratulations to the LaGrange Academy Middle School softball team, for their walk off win today. Down 4-3 in the last inning Layla Hendrick delivered an inside the park home run with a runner at first.
Liza Price was the starting pitcher and Avery Vaughn finished the game and pickup the win.
