We tracked and measured their training progress in the gym using . I have been using Output for about 4 years now and can honestly say that as a 1-man team trying to keep up with multiple teams, athletes and organizations it helps me provide better training.

It has taken time to learn how to best use the equipment for the teams, athletes and their training needs but it gets more and more dialed every year. Shout out to for putting in the time and good luck with the rest of your season

Want to be a better athlete? WRESTLE!
Bonus Last Slide 😉
•••
One of the first sports I remember starting up as a kid was wrestling…this was in Oklahoma where wrestling is common. In Laguna Beach? Non-existent until recently. if you want to teach kids accountability, good character, hard work and how to be a better athlete I would recommend it. Why? It’s only YOU out there on the mat and if you lose you can’t go blame your teammates for it. Only yourself! It teaches you a lot as a kid. How to fuel your body for performance and manage your weight properly (if you don’t you suffer), how to self-prepare for a match both mentally and physically, how to lose and how to win.

This is not to say rugby is my love because it is😂 but wrestling made me a better rugby player and a better athlete in general. Shout out to my coaches and teammates growing up (coach Weis, Kincaid, Justin D) Awesome to be around it again.

Rugby can be ruthless on the body. Cam was recovering from shoulder surgery and showed discipline with his training. It was cool to see him get back up to speed (literally) to be able to perform over the weekend.
•••
Thanks for trusting me with your training and thanks for not just helping throwing athletes but rugby athletes too! Now we just need a platform for rugby😉. Quick shout who always provides the necessary tools for shoulder strength💪🏼. You guys are awesome

Some new, some old. Still learning 👇🏽
•••
In over a decade of coaching athletes from youth to pro, I’ve learned that this job is about so much more than just running drills and I’m still learning every day. I’ve learned from the athletes themselves, from parents in the stands, and from coaches and staff behind the scenes. each of them has taught me something valuable. I’ve seen firsthand how the highs and lows on the field are deeply connected to everything else in the athletes life. If a an athlete is stressing over exams or a player is facing a tough time at home, it often shows up in their game and being a coach means being there for them through all of it. I’ve celebrated with them in victory and stood by them in defeat, and each experience has made me not just a better coach, but a better person. And for me, it’s a privilege to play even a small part in each of their journey.
•••
If there’s one thing all these years have made clear, it’s that at the end of the day I’m working with people first, and athletes second. Each player I coach is a person with hopes, challenges, and a life beyond the game. I try my best to understand the person behind the athlete to be there for them not just in sport, but in school, work, family… wherever life takes them. It’s not always easy, some days are hard but seeing them grow not just as athletes but as people makes it all worth it.

“Why are we always jumping?” Good question. Let’s break it down. 📈🔥
Athletes, coaches, and parents constantly ask me:
👉 “How do I become more explosive?”
👉 “How do we monitor athlete readiness?”
👉 “How can I jump higher?”
It all starts with one simple but powerful test: the vertical jump.
Why? Because it’s one of the best ways to measure explosive power—your ability to produce force quickly. That quality translates directly to sprinting, cutting, tackling, and more.
With the help of , I track vertical jumps for nearly every team and athlete I work with. It gives me real-time feedback on whether our training is driving the right results—and whether athletes are ready to train hard or need to pull back.
Here’s the key: I’m not at practice with these athletes. I don’t always see their day-to-day workload. But when I test a jump, I get insights into how they’re adapting—not just from lifting, but from everything else too.
Different athletes and teams respond differently depending on their current goals:
📆 Some need to peak.
💪 Others need to build strength.
⛺️ Some just need to survive a brutal camp.
Jump testing keeps us honest. It tells the truth about performance, readiness, and progress.
That’s why we jump. 📊💥
