Important Update!

Skating to Excellence played an important role in bringing figure skating and Learn to Skate programming back to Polk County, and PAC is grateful for the time, expertise, and dedication David, Madison, and the Academy have given to our skating community. Many skaters have had the opportunity to begin and grow their journey in ice sports under their guidance, and we sincerely wish Skating to Excellence continued success in its next chapter.

As PAC moves forward, we are excited to continue building upon that foundation and expanding opportunities for figure skating and all ice sports for children and adults in our community.

Beginning September 21, 2026, Learn to Skate programming will be offered directly through PAC. Additional information regarding registration, schedules, and programming will be shared in the coming days.

We are grateful to everyone who continues to support skating and ice sports in Polk County and look forward to this next chapter together.

For just $315, you’ll receive:

- 8 weeks of on-ice lessons led by Tampa Bay Lightning Alumni and Staff
- Full set of hockey equipment, including skates

🚨 RINK UPDATE — ALL ON-ICE EVENTS CANCELLED TONIGHT

Due to an ice maintenance issue, all scheduled on-ice events for this evening are cancelled.

Our team is actively working on the ice and will be using the additional time tonight to make the necessary repairs and rebuild the ice surface.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding. Please share this update with teammates and families who may be traveling to the rink.
