And don't forget to bring a stuffed animal to donate as we look to Stuff the Cruiser to help benefit the Lancaster General Hospital Pediatric Emergency Department.

UPDATE- Unfortunately, the doors will not be installed today and everyone can use the main door to enter.

We will be getting new front doors installed thanks to the hard work of our Board members and our partnering with the Flyers Charities- Rink Revive. We are excited to have 2 working front doors and keep the rain outside!! 👏🏼

Chad Neiss II, “Bomber”, played hockey for the Lancaster Firebirds from 1999 through 2013. He was a caring person who would go out of his way to help anyone. Tragically, Chad lost his battle with the plague of addiction in 2020. Recently, Chad's Firebirds jersey was hung at the rink to honor our Firebird. 🧡

Chad Neiss II Memorial Golf Outing is the rink's biggest fund raiser. Chad Neiss II Memorial Scholarship Fund has been set up to honor his memory and to give financial assistance to children. Ten percent of the proceeds from the golf outing bearing his name will be allocated by the LCYAHL to the scholarship fund with the remainder directly supporting the Lancaster Ice Rink.
