Dear Dad,
Dad, I would like to dedicate this year’s recital to you with all my love. I want to thank you for bringing me into this world and loving me so very much! As I grew up, I saw you work hard to give me everything we needed, but more importantly, you taught me about life. You taught me that family is of the utmost importance and we should be there for each other in good times and bad times. You taught me always to be respectful and caring. You taught me to be responsible. You taught me that things weren’t always going to go my way, but to stick it out and hold my head uphigh and keep going.
Dad, along with Mom, you were my support and my backbone. You helped my dream of being a dance teacher and owning my studio come true, and I learned so much from you as we worked together for so many years! I saw how your students became your second family and I followed in your footsteps. I watched you shine as a council member and you did so much for the city of Laredo. I am so proud of you!
There are so many memories that I will cherish and treasure for the rest of my life. I will always remember your stories and jokes. All 1 can say right now is that you are my hero. I will always love you and I miss you very, very much. But I do know that if I need you, all have to do is look up because I know you are looking down on me and saying “I got your back.”
