Our 4th consecutive day of golf here in Las Vegas and second round at Angel Park Golf Course. This round we played the Palm course. Great time shared by all.

We were back at it today for day 3 of our 4 days of golf here in Las Vegas at Angel Park Golf Club on the Mountain course. Got off early this morning (0610 was first time) and weather was pretty nice. But by 0900....here came the heat and temps quickly rose back over 100 and climbing.

Another hot day of golf today here in Las Vegas at the Boulder Creek Golf Club. Had another 15 brave golfers come out and play in 111 F weather.

Had a very hot day (110 F) of golf yesterday at Las Vegas National Golf Club. Had 15 players brave the heat to get in a round of golf where Tiger Woods won his first PGA event and some of the who's who in the 50's and 60's in Vegas use to play and live around.

Got some early tee times this morning at Stallion Mountain Golf Course and boy are we glad we did. As the temps were going up when we finished. Had 16 golfers participate today...pretty good for Thursday.

WOOOW! What a day we had at SouthShore Country Club for Nevada State Championship. We had 79 players...representing 6 states (VGA Utah, VGA Idaho, VGA California, VGA Oregon, aVGA Colorado and of course Nevada) . Big thank you to Mr. Tim Peterson and SouthShore Country Club for hosting us and for all their support before and during the tournament. Course was in great shape...great opportunity to play what is considered one of the premier courses in Nevada. Weather seemed a little cooler than the day before as some clouds rolled in towards the end of the round...but it was still very hot and you really needed to be hydrating to keep up your energy to finish these beautiful 18 holes. A big thank you to our State Director Mike Kaczmarek, Assistant State Directors Andre (Tank)Tanksley, Ryan Mariano and Al Medina for all they did for for this event and all through out the year. As we say in the Navy....Bravo Zulu!

In addition to hosting the other participating 5 VGA states participants... we also hosted the VGA West Region Director, Mr. Kerry Stauffer, Assistant VGA West Region Director, Mr. Steve Ritchie...thank you for all you do for the VGA and thanks for coming.

The VGA Nevada, State Director recognized VGA Nevada Player, Mr. Mike Arnold, for his outstanding contributions and support to the VGA community.

Yesterday we played at Reflection Bay Golf Club as a warm up to the Nevada VGA State Tournament. Course was in decent shape as they aerated about two weeks. The heat yesterday was a little rough for some (101F at noon), but overall the 44 participants enjoyed the course. Thank you Reflection Bay Golf Club for hosting us.
