Rebounding Sporthorses proudly presents four lovely Thoroughbreds:

Whether you’re looking for a restarted youngster ready to continue their education or an affordable prospect to bring along yourself, we have some really lovely horses available!

Cammie | 2023 Mare | 15.3h
Mid fours | Restarted and going beautifully

If you’re looking for the ultimate amateur or junior-friendly young horse, Cammie deserves a serious look!

This mare has an absolutely exceptional brain and is about as uncomplicated as they come. She goes the same whether she’s ridden consistently or has had time off, happily works in a rubber snaffle, and is genuinely one of the least spooky youngsters you’ll meet.

On the ground, Cammie is incredibly affectionate, friendly, and always looking for attention. She’s the definition of an in-your-pocket personality.

Under saddle, she’s willing, sensible, and incredibly quick to pick up new concepts. She continues to impress us with how easily she progresses through her training.

We could see Cammie excelling in a variety of disciplines, particularly as a hunter, equitation, or all-around amateur mount. She’s the kind of young horse that makes the process of bringing one along enjoyable.

Barefoot, sound, and an absolute pleasure to have in the barn.

Her price will increase as her training progresses and once she begins showing. Someone is going to get a really special mare!

Rugby | 2021 Gelding | 17h
Mid fours | Restarted and schooling 2’

Big, handsome, athletic, and an absolute sweetheart!

Rugby is a lovely young gelding who has taken to his new career beautifully. He’s currently restarted, going nicely under saddle, and schooling 2’ with plenty of potential to continue progressing.

Despite his impressive size and athletic ability, Rugby has a genuinely kind, amateur-friendly personality. He’s affectionate, willing, and has a wonderful attitude toward his work.

He has the size and presence to stand out in the show ring, along with the versatility to develop into a hunter, jumper, eventer, or dressage prospect.

Rugby is barefoot, sound, and continuing to gain experience with us. We think he’s going to make someone a fantastic partner, especially someone looking for a talented young horse without an unnecessarily complicated personality.

Priced in the mid fours, with increases expected as his training and show experience progress.

Angel | 2022 Mare | 16.2h
Low fours | Not yet restarted

If temperament is at the top of your wish list, Angel is worth getting to know!

This lovely young mare is exceptionally sweet, quiet, and personable. She’s the type that genuinely enjoys human interaction and seems eager to form a connection with her person.

Angel has not yet begun her under-saddle restart, so she’s an opportunity for someone looking to purchase a quality young prospect at a more affordable price before additional training is invested.

With her kind disposition and lovely presence, we could particularly see her developing into a wonderful hunter, foxhunter, or versatile amateur partner with the appropriate education.

She’s barefoot, sound, and ready for someone to start developing her potential.

Currently offered in the low fours to reflect her training status. Pricing will increase once she enters our restart program.

Sylvia | 16.2h Thoroughbred Mare
Low fours | Not yet restarted

Sylvia is a pretty, athletic mare with a lovely way of moving and plenty of potential for someone looking for a project to develop.

She’s naturally a little more reserved than some of our other horses, but she’s sweet once she gets comfortable. We think she’ll really blossom with someone willing to spend time building a relationship with her.

Sylvia has not yet been restarted under saddle, making her an affordable option for someone experienced with bringing along Thoroughbreds.

She’s a good mover with potential for several disciplines, including hunters, dressage, eventing, or a versatile pleasure home.

Sylvia is barefoot and currently sound. She does have some rounding/enlargement around one front ankle, which is not currently affecting her soundness. We’re happy to discuss this openly with interested buyers.

Currently offered in the low fours, reflecting her training status.

A little insight into how our pricing works at Rebounding Sporthorses!

One of our favorite things about what we do is watching our Thoroughbreds develop from fresh-off-the-track prospects into confident, well-rounded riding horses!

When our horses first arrive, we often advertise them before they’ve begun their retraining. At that stage, they’re typically offered at a lower price, giving buyers the opportunity to purchase a horse with plenty of potential at a more affordable price point.

As our horses progress through their training, gain experience, and become more established in their new careers, their prices increase to reflect that progress.

We’ve recently received an increasing number of inquiries about advertisements from several months ago, when certain horses were still being offered as unrestarted prospects. While we absolutely appreciate the interest, we’re unable to honor previous advertised prices on horses that have since received additional training and experience.

We always welcome inquiries, and we’re more than happy to provide updated pricing, current videos, and information about where each horse is in their training!

We also offer training packages!

Love the price point of an unrestarted Thoroughbred but aren’t quite ready to take on the restarting process yourself? We can help with that, too!

We offer 30, 60, and 90-day training packages for buyers who would like to purchase one of our unrestarted horses but want a little more education and experience under their belt before bringing them home. Whether you’re looking for a solid foundation under saddle, more miles, or a horse that’s further along in its new career, we can tailor a training package to your goals and experience level.

Our goal is always to set both horse and rider up for success, and we love being able to offer options for different budgets and experience levels!

For current pricing, available horses, or information about our training packages, reach out to us at 571-449-1686!

And we’re curious! Would you rather purchase a Thoroughbred fresh off the track and bring it along yourself, or spend a little more for one that already has a solid foundation?

Two wonderful horses available for half lease at Rebounding Sporthorses!

We have two very different personalities available for half lease, each with plenty to offer the right rider! Whether you’re looking for a versatile, well-educated partner or a talented jumper with a little extra fire, we may have the perfect match.

Charlie | Approx. 16.2h | Intermediate Rider & Up

Charlie is an incredibly versatile, well-educated gelding with a wonderful foundation and plenty of knowledge to share with his rider. Equally suited for hunters, equitation, jumpers, or dressage, he’s a fantastic option for someone looking to improve their riding on a horse who truly knows his job.

Charlie is a sensitive, thoughtful ride who appreciates soft hands, correct aids, and a rider who values finesse over force. His education makes him an excellent partner for someone looking to refine their position, develop a more effective seat, and improve the subtle communication between horse and rider. He’s the type of horse who can teach you a tremendous amount when you take the time to ride him correctly.

On the ground, Charlie is quite the character! He’s incredibly playful, full of personality, and always finding ways to entertain himself and everyone around him. He’s a horse with a big personality and an even bigger presence in the barn.

Karma | Approx. 16.2h | Jumper

Karma is a talented, athletic mare with plenty of personality and a little extra spice! She’s best suited for the jumper ring and would be an incredible partner for a confident, tenacious rider who enjoys a horse with some fire.

She’s not the type to simply pack someone around, but for a rider who enjoys a challenge and appreciates a sensitive, athletic horse, she has so much to offer. Karma is the kind of mare who will keep you on your toes, push you to be a better rider, and make the rewarding moments that much sweeter.

Showing is required for Karma’s lessee. We’re looking for a competitive, dedicated rider who is committed to getting in the ring and developing a consistent partnership with her.

Both horses are available to dedicated riders who want to ride consistently, continue improving, and build a genuine partnership with their horse.

🐴 RIDER OPPORTUNITY – REBOUNDING SPORTHORSES 🐴

We’re looking for a dedicated young adult who wants more time in the saddle, more experience around horses, and the opportunity to learn without the financial commitment of a traditional riding program!

I wouldn’t necessarily call this a working student position, but something similar with a little more flexibility and some great perks!

What we’re offering:

* Riding opportunities on a variety of horses, from green Thoroughbreds to experienced schoolmasters and everything in between.
* Local schooling shows with entry fees paid and a horse provided!
* The opportunity to develop your riding and horsemanship skills while gaining valuable hands-on experience.
* A fun, supportive environment where you’ll learn a lot along the way!

What we’re looking for:

* A consistent commitment of at least 3 weekday mornings per week, with a flexible schedule.
* Help mucking stalls on the days you ride in exchange for saddle time.
* Availability for approximately 2 local schooling shows per month, where you’ll help with grooming, setting jumps, and taking videos in exchange for your show opportunities.
* Confidence jumping around a simple 2’6” hunter course.
* Basic horse handling skills, reliability, and a willingness to learn!

Please note that this is not a paid position. Instead, we’re offering riding time, training opportunities, and the chance to compete at local schooling shows with your horse and entry fees covered in exchange for your help around the barn and at shows.

This is a great opportunity for someone who loves horses, wants to spend more time riding, and is eager to improve without the expense of lessons, leases, or horse ownership.

We have a wonderful variety of horses, and there is plenty of opportunity to grow as a rider while enjoying the process!

Sylvia — 16.2h Thoroughbred mare

Sylvia is a pretty, athletic mare with a good way of going and plenty of potential for someone looking for a versatile prospect. She is a little more reserved and shy than the others, but is sweet once she gets comfortable and should continue to come out of her shell with her own person.

She is barefoot and currently sound. Sylvia does have some rounding/enlargement around one front ankle, but it is not currently affecting her soundness.

She is a good mover and could go in a variety of directions with the right program, whether that be hunters, eventing, dressage, or a well-rounded pleasure home.

A nice prospect for someone who doesn’t mind giving a young horse a little time to build confidence and settle into her person.
