Wednesday night W for the Clutch 14U boys

The tournament may have been canceled, but the fun wasn’t. The 14U and 15U teams still took the field, except it was at Field of Fears. I’m sure there are some scratchy throats this morning after all that screaming.

That’s a wrap on the preseason for the Clutch Boys. Season opener this weekend! Let’s get to work boys!

📢 Clutch is expanding‼️

This year, we will host rising 8u, 9u, 13u, 14u, and 15u roster opportunities. The teams will work out at the Clutch Gym in Leesburg, have access to hitting cages in Ashburn, and practice in the surrounding Leesburg-Sterling area. Opportunities will depend on the team, but participation in doubleheaders (DH) within the Northern Virginia (NOVA) region and tournaments local or require overnight accommodations will occur throughout the year-long season.

Dan Prenatt is the director of baseball operations and head strength and conditioning coach, with whom every player trains throughout the year as a team.

🧢 Majority of coaches in the program have no kids but are supported by dad coaches
🦀 Coach Dan helps run a summer showcase event to help kids get scouted (Rising 15u+ opportunity)

Year 1 in the books ✅ Fell short of all our goals, but I couldn't have asked for a better group of kids to coach to start my varsity coaching career. Hats off to the seniors as they start their next chapter. Go 🐅's!

The Clutch Athletics 12U team had a great Mother’s Day double header going 2-0. The boys had an amazing 12 doubles on the day.
