🎣NATIONALS WRAP-UP: HEADED HOME!

🐟Kentucky Lake proved to be a tough bite, but Tristan and Colton fished their absolute hearts out! While strict regulations meant coming up just shy on the scales, they put fish in the boat—including catching a meanmouth, a first and a huge accomplishment for our local boys! 🐟✨

Watching this tournament play out was something truly special. Where else can middle school student athletes step onto a playing field, stage, and compete against teams from all across the United States—and even Canada?! 🇺🇸🇨🇦 The camaraderie among anglers, captains, parents, and coaches cheering each other on at every takeoff and weigh-in was inspiring to watch.

A few huge takeaways from the trip:
* 📚 Invaluable lessons learned on tough water
* 🗺️ A brand-new (and VERY BIG) lake checked off the list
* 🎣 Caught a meanmouth!
* 📵 Surviving (and thriving!) with zero cell reception

Speaking of big water—we realized just how massive Kentucky Lake really is! It covers 160,309 acres of surface area with over 2,000 miles of shoreline, stretching 184 miles across Kentucky and Tennessee as the largest artificial lake east of the Mississippi River! 🌊
To put that in perspective compared to our home waters:
* Lake Seminole: ~37,500 acres
* Lake Eufaula: ~45,181 acres
Kentucky Lake is more than double both of them combined! Taking on water that size was a monumental task, and our boys handled it like well!!

We are beyond thankful for the opportunity to represent Lee County on the national stage, and we can’t thank our sponsors, families, and community enough for making this dream possible for these boys.

From being crowned 1st Place State Champions on Lake Seminole in June to competing at Nationals in July, what a ride it has been! We couldn't be prouder of Tristan, Colton, and Captain Kevin. You made us all proud! 🔴⚫️⚪️

🌧️ DAY 2 TAKE OFF AT JR NATIONALS! 🌧️

The energy is high, the rain has settled in, and our boys are out on the water giving it everything they’ve got! 🎣💥

Yesterday was an absolute battle—they fought hard for those bites, coming up just shy with a couple of bass under the 15” minimum. But days like today on Kentucky Lake are where true character is forged. These are the days that teach our young anglers how to dig deep and persevere! 💪

No matter what the scales say, watching Tristan, Colton, and Captain Kevin represent Lee County on this stage is an incredible blessing.

Let’s go get ‘em today, boys! Keep grinding! 🔨🔴⚫️⚪️
