A huge congratulations goes out to Tyson Ball and his dad/boat captain, Justin Ball, on an incredible performance at the Georgia Bass Nation JR State Classic Championship!

Fishing a grueling two-day tournament completely solo is no easy task, but Tyson put all of his focus on fishing. Grinding it out and weighing in a two-day total of 11 lbs and some change, securing an 8th PLACE FINISH in the State! 🏆🐟

What made Tyson’s weekend even more special was his incredible sportsmanship and team spirit. Getting his photo taken both days, Tyson made sure to tell everyone just how much he wished his partner could have been there with him, sharing that he knows if they were together, they would have been even stronger. That is true teamwork right there! 🤝❤️

Tyson, we are so incredibly proud of your grit and the class you showed on and off the water this weekend.

Today brought brutal, exhausting heat, but these two boys absolutely hammered it out, kept their heads in the game, and got the job done. Over the grueling 2-day tournament, they brought a grand total of 21.46 lbs to the scales to hold onto 1st place and walk off that stage with some MASSIVE HARDWARE and a huge opportunity to compete at the 2026 Tackle Warehouse Bassmaster Junior Championship aka Nationals!🏆✨

This isn’t just a victory; this is a true dream come true and a certified HISTORY MAKER for our fishing team and program.

Tristan and Colton have officially punched their ticket and are GOING TO NATIONALS IN JULY! 🇺🇸✈️ They are officially the FIRST EVER Junior boat from the Lee County Bass Fishing Team to qualify for the National Championship!

Words cannot express how incredibly proud we are of these two anglers and their dedicated Captain, Kevin Beckum. They fished hard, never gave up, and wrote their names and Lee County Bass Fishing Team in the history books today. 📖🔴⚫️
