As we enter the second week of August, a new week presents you with opportunities to find peace and balance. ✨️

Whether you participate in an early morning class to greet the sun, an afternoon class to support you through the midday, or perhaps an evening class to clear the mind from the day's chatter, making space for yourself is the goal.

At Chill, we are happy to be your yoga tour guides for the experience.

TEACHER SPOTLIGHT:

Meet Lori, our Yin Yoga & Instinctive Meditation Teacher. Lori also trained with Dr. Lorin Fishman in Yoga for Osteoporosis, and offers both the Yin and YvO classes at Chill Yoga, where she has been a teacher since the fall of 2023. This fall, Lori will be bringing specialized Meditation workshops and Yoga vs. Osteoporosis-focused workshops to Chill.

From Lori:
"As a retired Registered Nurse and Nurse Practice Educator specializing in critical care, I bring a clinical foundation to my holistic yoga practice. I started practicing yoga in 2002 as a personal pathway for wellness maintenance. My first thesis, written in 2003, explored the healing nature of yoga, ta**ra, and meditation—a subject I view as a true meeting of East and West.

I completed my yoga teacher training in 2023 at Chill Yoga through The Healing Tide School of Yoga and am a 200-hour CYT. I also completed an advanced meditation teacher training in 2026 at The Radiant Sutras School of Meditation and am a 500-hour RYT.

My teaching focuses on slower movements, such as Yin Yoga to energize soft tissues, Yoga vs. Osteoporosis to strengthen our bones, and Instinctive Meditation to nourish our life force while moving through the wise motions of life.

Instinctive Meditation is my first love, and I am delighted to also offer meditation workshops through my meditation concierge practice at SomaMT.com."

You can join Lori on Wednesdays at 11AM for her Yoga vs. Osteoporosis class, and on Sundays from 5-6PM for her Yin Yoga & Meditation class.

August has arrived, and with it a whole new week and month of opportunities to explore ways to find balance! ✨️

Unroll your mat this morning or grab a chair for a heart-warming class with Katie Camire Lincoln. Her Inside Out Vitality Vinyasa and Chair Yoga classes set your week up for positivity. Her Tuesday offerings this week will bring a calming energy that will fill your well. Tuesday morning, Chris reminds us why Resistance Stretch for Flexibility is so important to our fascia.

This Monday and next, enjoy Prana Vinyasa with Julia Rhinelander who will be covering for Heidi while she is away. We are also very happy to have Kathy Saunders back on the regular schedule for her weekly 6pm Wednesday night Gentle Yoga class! Her uplifting energy is contageous!

This week's Thursday morning Intro to Vinyasa with Diane and Lunchtime Gentle Hatha with Kathy will give students an opportunity to try different teaching styles for their practice.
On Friday and Saturday, Choose stillness or flow.
Diane will bring a slower pace with Restorative Yoga. The All Levels Vinyasa classes with Diane & Katie bring uplifting energy and a deeper connection to self.

While our schedule will be lighter this month as teachers take some much needed vacation time before the fall full options unfold, your mat is always available to explore your personal practice. Set your intention, deepen your breathing and let the magic happen. ✨️

NOTE: Our physical studio will be closed for our annual cleaning and renovations AUG 24TH THROUGH SEPT. 7TH. We will have a few offsite outdoor options, Yoga Outdoor hiking adventures and early morning Zoom classes for you to enjoy while we reset the studio.

We look forward to meeting you where you are at.🙏❤️

The weekend has arrived, and we are just beginning to dip our toes into the August flow. ✨️

As the air slightly shifts into cooler nights, your body might be feeling a little out of sorts. A supportive yoga practice can help bring you back to some semblance of normal. Friday morning Restorative Yoga might just be the gentle easing into the day that you need. Slow flows in All Levels Vinyasa on Friday with Diane and Saturday morning with Katie can bring you back into the easy movement you have been craving

Yin Yoga on Sunday with Lori is the reset for the coming week you didn't know you needed.💙

After your spiritual nourishment, you can visit our neighbors Forage Market next door for a yummy breakfast or a chai latte; you can also visit@blue_jay_coffee_ down the street for delicious baked goods, breakfast sandwiches, and tasty lattes. If special tea blends suit you best, stop by Fifth Pillar Tea House for delicious tea creations and fresh baked snacks by Cozy Fox Bakery (Tea house weekend hours 11am-7pm Friday & Saturday, Sunday 11am-4PM.)

We look forward to meeting you where you are, just as you are. 🙏 💙

We are in the last week of the Yoga Sadhana Challenge, and the attendances have been legendary! Three of our top attendees have taken 34, 33, and 25 classes during the month of July!
We have a good group who have taken 15-22 classes, and others who have been consistently attending classes at least 2 times a week.
The level of personal commitment by the participants to a weekly yoga practice has been inspiring. 🙏✨️

While the July Challenge is partly a fun competition with fellow yogis, at the end of the day it's about developing a personal relationship with finding your own pathway to peace and mindfulness.

You don't have to be involved with the Challenge to take the opportunity to discover your own path to peace. At Chill, our teachers are ready to guide you in classes as you carve out a practice that suits your needs. From beginners to seasoned practitioners, there is something for everyone.

Come as you are, just as you are. We look forward to seeing you. 💙✨️
