Tier IV families — evaluations for all 10U, 12U and 14U players begin THIS Saturday, October 3 at Norway Savings Bank Arena, with a second evaluation session on Monday, October 5. 🏒

Saturday’s session is required for all players. Monday’s session is highly recommended, and any players who are required to attend Monday will be notified after coaches complete their evaluation discussions on Saturday.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3
• 10:40–11:40 a.m. — 10U
• 11:50 a.m.–12:50 p.m. — 12U
• 1:00–2:00 p.m. — 14U

MONDAY, OCTOBER 5
• 6:30–7:30 p.m. — 10U
• 7:20–8:20 p.m. — 12U
• 7:40–8:40 p.m. — 14U

Please plan to arrive with enough time for your player to be dressed and ready to take the ice at the start of their session. We’re excited to get the Tier IV season underway!

6U & 8U families — evaluations are coming up THIS Saturday, October 3 and Monday, October 5 at Norway Savings Bank Arena. 🏒

These evaluation skates give our coaches the opportunity to see all players on the ice and create balanced teams for the season. We encourage players to attend both sessions for their age group, but we understand schedules can be busy. Every registered player will still be placed on a team.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3
• 10:00–11:00 a.m. — All 8U Players
• 11:10 a.m.–12:10 p.m. — All 6U Players

MONDAY, OCTOBER 5
• 5:20–6:20 p.m. — All 6U Players
• 5:00–6:00 p.m. — 8U Group 1
• 6:10–7:10 p.m. — 8U Group 2

After Saturday’s skate, coaches will divide 8U players into two groups for Monday. Families will receive an email Sunday letting them know which session their player should attend.

Tier IV evaluations are coming up October 3 and 5 and if this is your first season, here’s the most important thing to know:

They’re evaluations, NOT tryouts. 🏒

Players are already registered to play. The evaluation sessions help Gladiators staff create balanced teams within each age group.

Each age group has two sessions, and players are encouraged to attend both if possible.

Check the schedule now, save your times and we’ll see you at Norway Savings Bank Arena this weekend. 🔴⚫

🏒 We’re looking for a few more 14U Tier IV players to round out the Maine Gladiators roster!

If your player wants to keep playing this season while also participating in high school hockey, Tier IV can be a great fit. League games are intentionally scheduled on Sundays whenever possible to help avoid conflicts with high school hockey schedules.

There are still a few spots available, so don’t miss your chance to join the Gladiators for the 2026–27 season.

🏒 Meet our new Mites Leads!

We’re excited to welcome Matt Berube, Marc Gagne and Nick Mathon into these leadership roles for the 2026–27 season.

Matt brings more than a decade of Gladiators coaching experience across multiple age levels, Marc brings seven years of coaching experience and a strong focus on player development, and Nick brings five years with the Gladiators along with experience coaching at both the 8U and 10U levels.

At the Mites level, where so many kids are beginning to build their skills, confidence and love for this sport, having strong coaches and positive role models makes all the difference.

We’re looking forward to having Matt, Marc and Nick help lead the next generation of Gladiators this season. 🔴⚫

Registration for the 2026–27 Maine Gladiators Tier IV season closes this Friday, September 25. If your player plans to skate with us at 10U, 12U or 14U this season, don’t let the deadline sneak by.

Evaluations follow October 3 and 5 and are used to create balanced teams, they are not tryouts.
