🇺🇸 Never Forget 🇺🇸

In honor of September 11th, Lafayette Baseball traded the field for the stairwell and took on the 9/11 Challenge — weighted backpacks and 30 minutes of nonstop stairs.

A small way to honor the incredible strength, courage, and sacrifice shown on September 11, 2001. 343 firefighters climbed those stairs and never came back down.

Congratulations to Emerson O’Bryan on being named a 2027 National Merit Semifinalist! 🎓⭐️

Emerson is among less than 1% of high school seniors nationwide to earn this incredible distinction.

All of our Generals need a Blizzard after workouts tonight. For recovery purposes, obviously. 🍦⚾️💪

HARVARD & MAYO CLINIC JUST DROPPED THE MOST DANGEROUS STUDY OF THE DECADE

Post-workout Dairy Queen Blizzard consumption spikes muscle protein synthesis 43% higher than boring chicken breast + rice.

Key findings:

- Medium Oreo Blizzard (or any Blizzard variant) immediately post-training → +43% MPS elevation at 3-hour mark vs standard 40g protein chicken & rice meal

The magic combo? Massive insulin spike from sugar + dairy casein/whey blend + healthy fats from mix-ins = anabolic na**lm
