Four-year-old David has something to celebrate! 🏊‍♂️👏

He can now swim 25 feet with his face in the water, using a “pop-up breath” when he needs air. It’s been wonderful to watch his skills and confidence grow with every lesson.

Now David is ready for Swim Strokes 201, where he’ll start learning freestyle with side breathing and backstroke. What an exciting next step!

Way to go, David! We’re proud of how hard you’ve worked and can’t wait to see what you learn next. 💙

While I stay quite busy with the little ones--I'm excited to announce a rare opportunity—a brand-new, six-week "Swim with Jim" Adult Swim Class beginning next Friday!

🏊 ADULT SWIM CLASS

Fridays from 6:30–7:00 PM
Location: Wellmore of Lexington
Length: Six weeks
Cost: $250 (no registration fee)

The class is limited to just four (4) swimmers.

Who Can Enroll? This class is open to both beginners and advanced beginners.

Beginner swimmers are welcome as long as they are comfortable putting their face in the water and holding their breath briefly.

Advanced beginners—or swimmers who are “stroke-ready”—are also welcome. These swimmers may already be able to get from one end of the pool to the other but need to learn proper stroke fundamentals to swim more efficiently and confidently.

At The Swim Lessons Company, we believe learning should be encouraging—not stressful. That's why we don't hold formal testing days. Instead, Coach Jim and Coach Heather evaluate each swimmer during every lesson throughout the year. When a swimmer consistently demonstrates the skills needed to move forward, we celebrate their accomplishment with a surprise graduation and a well-earned medal!

Every child learns at their own pace, and we love recognizing those milestones when the time is right. Seeing the excitement and pride on their faces makes these moments so special.

Here are 2 more layers of protection — backed by research.
1️⃣ Swim lessons. Early.
Formal swim lessons = 88% lower drowning risk for kids 1–4.
