If you are stopping in for your very first visit, try and arrive 10 mins early to register for class.
No need to save a spot in advance!

Dress in comfortable exercise clothes.
Bring a scarf for your hips too if you want, and get ready to move those hips!

Parking available on the street or in the parking lot across the way. No fees.

Join us for an evening of bellydance at Arabesque World Dance tonight — Thursday, September 10th.

Here’s tonight’s studio schedule:

5:30 PM — Bellydance Flow Class (Silk Veils) ❤
Come ease into the rhythm with soft, flowing veil work. Tonight we are visiting some old school, vintage American Cabaret style veil work. Y'all are going to love it!

New students and drop-ins are welcome —this is a perfect time to step into the flow.

6:30 PM — Choreo Refresh
Let’s revisit your favorite pieces, fine-tune the details, and keep the movement feeling fresh.

7:00 PM — Advanced Choreography & Performance Prep (Invitation Only)
Time to prep for the next few months of gigs coming up!

Dance has never been just a hobby or a career for me—it is my life's calling. Passing on this art, teaching, and watching my students step into their own strength and grace is where my heart truly lives.

Every time I step into the studio, I am reminded that learning is a continuous, lifelong journey. It is such a privilege to guide others through that process—watching women build resilience, uncover their confidence, and discover just how much they are capable of achieving.

To anyone standing on the edge of trying something new, wondering if you're ready: take the leap. Step into the studio. Sweat, learn, and fall in love with the process of growing. The work is real, but the strength you uncover in yourself along the way is priceless.

Hello and Happy Wednesday morning 🌞

Tonight we have Bellydance Fundamentals Class at 6 PM! This class is OPEN for New Students and Drop In Students to come dance with us.
Come on out to the studio and get your dance on, and/or join us for a super relaxing Slow Yoga Flow. Your body will thank you.

~6:00 PM Bellydance Fundamentals Class - Technique & Combos
Egyptian Dance ♥️

~7:30 PM Slow Yoga Flow with Safiya for Beginners and up.
End your Wednesday night with delicious stretches, breathwork, and a slow flow through beginner vinyasas.

Parking is available on the street or in the 60 space parking lot right across from the studio (we share the parking lot with Country Boys Brewing).

Remember....our Wednesday night class has a special running....Bring a Friend for Free!

Spending Labor Day in the studio with these incredible dancers!

It takes so much dedication to refine a dance, and I’m so thankful to share the floor with women who love this art form as much as I do. So many of the ladies have fallen in love with our "Moonflower" choreography—an elegant fusion piece with such a sweeping, beautiful flow!

We're definitely bringing "Moonflower" to one of our upcoming theater performances alongside some brand-new material we're building. If you’ve learned this piece before or have seen it performed and want to jump in, there’s still plenty of time to learn it and join us on stage!

For anyone who caught our Q&A session at Lexington Comic Con, you might remember me talking about how being a dancer means being a student for life. There’s no limit to how far you can grow with the right mindset. Even after all these years of teaching, I still prioritize my own continuing education and master classes—because the learning never stops!

So proud of these ladies for putting in the time and embracing the journey together.

So proud of these incredible dancers! The ladies of Arabesque World Dance poured their absolute hearts and souls into our traditional Egyptian and cabaret sets at Lexington Comic Con this weekend.

It takes a tremendous amount of dedication, practice, and pure courage to step up on that stage in front of a live audience, and they performed with such poise, beauty, and energy. Watching them share the beauty of this dance and bring the house down was an absolute joy for me as an instructor and director. They did an awesome job! Some videos are coming soon! 😉

Our 6 PM Intro to Bellydance Class is all about learning from the ground up, technique and control, step by step, you can drop in any time —including new students —and you don’t need to sign up and you don’t have to worry about missing a class . Just come dance with us 💃✨

~6:00 PM Intro to Bellydance — technique, combos, and drills so you can really get into the movements, feel the music, and build your confidence.

~7:15 PM Egyptian Bellydance Choreography- Class #5
Inspired by the Awalim of Egypt (the original professional entertainers 😄). It’s packed with fun steps, groove, technique, and a little dance history too.

~8:00 PMChoreo Refresh — to practice what you’ve already learned and keep everything fresh (and fun!) 💗
