Established in 1978, Halestone Dance Studio has provided cutting-edge dance education dedicated to nurturing the originality and artistic development of its students for over three decades. Whether you're young or old, a first time student or a dance artist with established skills, Halestone has opportunities for your movement exploration and adventure! We have a new location! - 722 S. Did you know that although Halestone was founded in 1978 by Carol Winder (1978-1996), it only became a non-profit organization run by a board of volunteers in 2016?

Halestone has reached the honorable milestone of 10 years as a non-profit. In 2016, Halestone Foundation was created and purchased the Halestone business from Nancy Saylor (1996-2016).

We are GRATEFUL to the founding board members (pictured here in the studio before our Marley floor was installed) for navigating this transition. We are grateful to YOU, our community, for continuing to support our mission. And a big THANK YOU to our Artistic Coordinator Kathleen Gale. We wouldn't be here without the hard work and dedication of ALL of Halestone!
