Congratulations to our Benton I Can! Dance class on an outstanding performance at the Doxa Arts Academy recital. Our instructor, Sarah, has done an amazing job in choreography.
We also thank Doxa Arts Academy for their partnership with our organization to offer this special needs dance class.

It took a team of volunteers to make it happen. From food servers to decorators …thank you. Our I Can! Dancers became artists after classes to create our table runners. Thank you to all who made it possible for our 20 year celebration.

Very thankful for the partnerships we have with local dance studios to help us offer I Can! Dance in other areas. DancePraize in Arkadelphia has helped us for about 10 years and has always been wonderful to work with. They held their recital at OBU on Saturday, May 2.
Zoe Strain led the class with wonderful volunteer buddies again. They performed to “What A Wonderful World.”

Miss Arkansas Kennedy Holland and Miss Arkansas Teen Amelia Lisowe have both been buddies in our I Can! Dance program. They both spoke beautifully on the need for inclusion for all during our 20 year celebration gala at Benton UMC. They are both wonderful ambassadors for our state and our special needs families. Thank you.

“I Hope You Dance,” performed by our 2026 dancers to recreate a routine first performed in 2011 for first full dance recital with all of our locations.
A standing ovation for these performers at our 20 year celebration gala.

In 2007, Katie, Shawn and Rissa performed to the song “What Is Impossible with Men.” This weekend the three reunited and watched another generation perform to the same song and almost identical routine. This group was able to prove that it's possible with God.
Just another moment from our 20 year celebration at Benton UMC April 25.
