🚴♀️ New Bike Day for Sydney!
Sydney is rolling out on her new Giant Contend AR 1 — a bike built for riders who don’t want to be limited by where the pavement ends.
The Contend AR 1 is an ideal choice for aspiring road riders, daily commuters, and endurance cyclists looking for one bike that can handle a little bit of everything — smooth pavement, rough city streets, long weekend miles, and even the occasional gravel detour.
Congratulations on the new ride, Sydney, and thank you for letting Spokes be part of the journey! 🚲

Julia & Dale picked out the perfect bikes for their needs and fitness levels. She chose the lightweight Velotric E-bike Tempo and he got the Giant Cyprus. Both are great options because of the bike's versatility. Come by the shop and let us help you find the bike that fits you.

Spokes Sunday Social Coffee Ride Plan ☕🚴
Lead by Courtney Carder
Here's what to expect tomorrow on our ride!
We'll roll out from Fidel & Co. and head west on the Arkansas River Trail, enjoying an easy, social pace. This ride is all about community, conversation, and getting comfortable on the bike no one gets left behind.
Our route takes us to the section near Dillard's, where we'll briefly leave the trail and ride on streets and sidewalks. This is a great opportunity to experience one of the few connector sections of the River Trail if you haven't ridden it before.
We'll ride single file, watch for traffic and pedestrians, follow all traffic laws, and use extra caution. Once we're past Dillard's, we'll stop to regroup before continuing.
From there, we'll make our way along the trail to Riverfront Drive back to the trail system, eventually reaching the Big Dam Bridge, where we'll take our first water and restroom break.
After crossing the Big Dam Bridge, we'll cruise through Burns Park, with another opportunity to refill bottles and use the restroom if needed.
We'll continue along the trail with one final regroup stop near the marina before crossing heading down to the Clinton Presidential Bridge, making our way back to Fidel for the best part coffee and good conversation.
A few ride expectations:
• 🚴 Approximately 17 miles
• ☕ Relaxed, social "coffee ride" pace (around 10–12mph)
• 🪖 Helmets please
• 🤝 No pacelines, racing, or hard efforts, this is about riding together, not riding fast.
•🚦Please obey all traffic laws and be mindful of pedestrians (let them know you are there).
Whether you're dusting off an old bike, new to group rides, or just looking for good people to pedal with, this ride is for you. Come ready to enjoy the morning, meet new friends, and fall a little more in love with riding bikes.
