While our hunter and jumper riders have been busy with horse shows this summer, our western riders have been competing in rodeo and gymkhana! It’s so fun having riders of different disciplines at the barn, and getting to cheer one another on!

Team Cottonwood is having a blast in Estes Park this week at Copper Penny! We are so proud of their riding, and feel so lucky to be a part of such an awesome, inclusive, encouraging community!

Sweet Charlie has been an adult’s horse for many years, but he recently was lucky enough to get a little girl of his own. He’s soaking in all the pets, treats, read-alouds, and hangouts with his new tiny person, and it’s just the cutest!

What a fun Saturday! Several riders and horses enjoyed a trail ride field trip today! The horses did a beautiful job and the riders had a great time together!

We are so excited to introduce you to Nora, and her sweet baby horse, Oxford!
Nora and her mom, Jenna, knew Oxford was their guy the moment they met. Nora says, “It was love at first sight when we met Oxford. He doesn’t argue, he’s my best friend, and he gives good cuddles and he’s always there for me.”
He is definitely Nora’s heart horse, and it has been so fun to watch this duo grow together. Be sure to say hello to Nora and Oxford (and Jenna) when you see them around the barn!

Congratulations to Washee and Kaitlin on finding one another! Washee, who’s a bit particular, let everyone know that Kaitlin was his person, and thankfully, she agreed! We are thrilled for both of them, and excited to watch them grow together!
