A tough day at the diamond for the Armada. Adelaide fell 10-0 to Asia-Pacific in five innings at the LLB Intermediate World Series in Livermore, California, with the mercy rule coming into effect.

Asia-Pacific got off to a flying start, homering early and adding to the total right through the game, while Adelaide bats struggled to find any joy against a disciplined pitching line-up.

On the mound, Archie Wallis, Zac Gratton, Harrison Malec and Flynn Dienelt all took their turn trying to slow the scoring, and there were some gutsy moments in the field.

It wasn't the result we wanted, but this young Australian outfit will take plenty of lessons from facing a quality Asia-Pacific line-up. ⚾🇦🇺

The Adelaide Armada have made South Australian baseball history, winning the 2026 Intermediate League National Championships and earning the right to represent Australia at the Intermediate League World Series in California.

For our players, aged 11–13, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to compete against the best teams in the world and proudly wear the green and gold on the international stage.

While some tournament costs are covered, families are still facing significant expenses including travel logistics, team equipment, transport, meals and preparation costs.
