For our last introduction we have the wonderful Natalie Rice.
Natalie has been dancing for 16 years in styles including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical and hip hop. She has been a competitive dancer at Miss Jeans Dance Arts for 4 years and I’ve danced in The Nutcracker with Livonia Civic Ballet Company. She is in school for business as well as dental assisting school. This past competition season she got the chance to choreograph dances that received top awards at competitions and crafter her style as a choreographer. She can’t wait to share her love of dance with others.

Now we would like to introduce Alex Negron.
Alex Negron is from Garden City, MI. He has been dancing since he was eight years old. As dance grew into a passion for him, he decided to pursue a BFA in dance at Wayne State University, and is now going into his second year. At Wayne State, he has worked with Lisa Lamarre Wilmot in Company One, touring and performing for local schools K-12. Along with this at WSU, he has performed the work of the faculty member, Dr. Ras Mikey Courtney. In addition to being a student, he guest teaches at local studios for a variety of ages. Alex has had his choreography showcased on competition stages, Suttle Dance Company’s concert, and the Reciprocal Visions showcase. He also is currently in his first year with Contexture Dance Detroit, a local dance company he is currently working in as an intern.

Next up is our wonderful acro teacher Miss Alyssa Barker.
Alyssa Barker has been teaching dance and acro for the past two years and has loved every minute of it. She started dancing at the age of four at Robert Lee School of Dance and finished at Dance Express. Along with dance she trained as a gymnast starting at age 2 and trained at Michigan Academy of Gymnastics and Euro Stars.

Next up we have Maggie Weikert! We are excited to have her back at our intensive again this year!
Maggie Kate Weikert is a dance artist from Livonia, Mi, trained in styles including contemporary, jazz, hip hop, ballet, tap, musical theater, ethio-modern, dunham technique, congolese african dance, and house. This past May she received her BFA in Dance from Wayne State University and recently performed with Usher at Ford Field for the Detroit leg of the R & B Tour. She is currently signed with StageFlow Agency, performing at Townhouse Detroit weekly and other upscale events.

Welcoming back an amazing instructor from our summer intensive last year we would like to introduce Lindsey Koshowsky.
Lindsey Koshowsky is dancer, choreographer and instructor based in Canton, MI. She has earned national recognition in collegiate & competitive dance and was inducted into the Concordia University Ann Arbor Athletic Hall of Fame in 2025. She earned multiple All-American recognitions at the NAIA level. She was awarded Newcomer & Dancer of the Year as well as four time First-Team All Conference at the Wolverine-Hoosier Conference level.
Lindsey holds a degree in Exercise Science, allowing her to emphasize proper technique, injury prevention, and overall dancer wellness in her training. Her experience spans beyond the competitive studio setting, as she has trained and choreographed for both high school and collegiate dance teams. She has been teaching and choreographing in the competitive dance industry since high school and currently works as a teacher and choreographer at Michelle’s Academy of Dance in Brighton, Michigan.

Kelsey Rose Young is a dynamic force in the dance world, known for her appearance on So You Think You Can Dance, judging for national dance competitions, and teaching at major dance conventions and festivals across the country. She has choreographed for national commercials including Dodge Ram, created halftime show routines for Detroit Pistons games, and performed as a backup dancer for Jay Sean. She directs the Detroit Tap Repertory, owns Wing It Tap Intensive and Challenge, and just recently started Fortune Dance Competition! With a deep passion for performance and education, she brings energy, expertise, and inspiration to every stage and studio she steps into.

Brandon Porter
Brandon is a visionary leader and performing artist dedicated to pushing creative boundaries
within the arts community. A renowned international ballet instructor, he combines his rigorous
training—anchored by his prestigious diploma in Cecchetti Ballet—with a deep passion for
mentoring the next generation of dancers. His teaching career spans esteemed institutions,
including the Performing Arts School of Central Pennsylvania and the Allegheny Ballet
Company.
Brandon’s performance background is as diverse as it is impressive, ranging from the 1st
National Tour of The Music Man and Balanchine’s The Nutcracker to lead roles in Petrouchka at
the New York Musical Theater Festival. He has also shared the stage with pop icons Nick and
Aaron Carter and performed in numerous industrial productions for major brands like Toys "R"
Us, Milton Bradley, the International Motorcycle Show, and the UFC.
As the Artistic Director of Boundless Bodies Contemporary Ballet, Brandon bridges his
performance expertise with directorial leadership. He brings a proven track record of success in
producing live theater and dance for both non-profit and for-profit organizations. His
commitment to inclusivity and excellence is evident in his recent commissioned work with the
Virginia Symphony Orchestra, where he created an original children’s ballet, The 12 Dancing
Princesses. Brandon remains steadfast in his mission to provide a platform for dancers of all
backgrounds, ensuring the arts remain accessible and enriching for all.
