Day one of .dynamics ISAC event went well yesterday (except for the heat). Owen managed to get his personal best ISAC round with an 88x using his new carbon fiber darts, 150 grain points, and glass filled nylon atlatl. Let's see what day 2 brings.

This past weekend, .rendezvous hosted their annual Chamberlin traditional archery tournament, which included ATLATL for the first time - a fantastic addition. A huge thank you to for organizing the event. Owen was thrilled to compete against a large group, our biggest atlatl tournament since the last Valley of Fire.

He achieved his best personal ISAC score of 83 in the primitive class, a huge accomplishment.

Owen also enjoyed catching up with Ken Villars, who introduced him to atlatl years ago.

Mark your calendars for next year's event in early April.

His first ISAC of 2025 and ends with a very nice 89 with 2 X. Not a bad start.

We spent the morning doing youth outreach and education on atlatl. We had hundreds of young kids stopping by to learn more and express interest in our sport.

started their six week "sprinter" 3D league last week. This week showed up to score an impressive round with atlatl as well as . If you find yourself near Santiago Park archery range at 10:30 am for the next 4 Saturdays, come check it out, and maybe give atlatl a try.

Our first week of ISAC scoring for 2023 went well. Weather was great and got Sam from to join in on the fun.

Weather was great for first of 6 3D events. It was nice for to include a class for this year. Winner will be highest cumulative score over all weeks. Next shoot two weeks 2/25/23.

Congratulations to our very own Owen Wilkens for finishing 24th in the world for 2022. Not bad for a 16 year old in the men's division.

Come out and throw Atlatl with Owen this weekend 2/11/23 at first 3D event of the year. They have created a special Atlatl division to go along with the Archery divisions. It should be a lot of fun. So bring your gear out and enjoy a great day at the range.

The range was much better suited to having small groups come up and give it a try which was a lot of fun. We had 8 people turn out for an official scoring round, so it was pretty successful. Thanks for those that helped, and thanks for all those who stepped up to try.
