We love it when our former coaches come back to visit!

This week we had a very special guest all the way from Brazil…our original boys coach, Felipe Carsalade. Felipe was there from the beginning and helped lay the foundation for what our club is today.

We are so grateful he stopped by to say hello, jump in the pool with the boys, and spend time with our athletes. Felipe has always been more than a great coach; he has been an incredible mentor and role model to so many players.

Thank you for making time to visit, Felipe! It was great having you back on deck and in the water with the team.

We are still looking for a few 10U, 12U, and 14U boys’ and girls’ teams to participate in the Sandro Cup. We have limited spots available.

A few things to know:

• There is no tournament entry fee.
• This is an open-water tournament held in Long Beach off Bayshore and 2nd Street.
• Instead of a tournament fee, we are asking teams to donate to Sandro Apuzzo’s GoFundMe and share it with their families. LINK IN BIO!!!

Sandro is a former 908WPC athlete who suffered a devastating injury last year. We are working to raise funds to help him get a mobility device so he can return to school in August and receive specialized therapy.

Tournament play will take place on July 1 and July 2, with games beginning at 1:00 PM and concluding by 6:00 PM each day. This is a great opportunity to bring your team out for a few fun games in a unique setting.

A huge shoutout to 14U Yellow athlete Carter Changet!

On Friday, Carter put his team above himself, missing his 8th-grade graduation to compete with his teammates at the Junior Olympic Qualifiers.

After two big wins, his teammates made sure to celebrate him the 908 way…with a giant diploma, cupcakes, and plenty of congratulations!

Carter, we are incredibly proud of you as a student and as a teammate.

Congratulations on your graduation, and best of luck as you begin your high school journey.

What a weekend for our 14U Girls Yellow! These athletes battled their way through JO Quals, coached by , without a single loss, finishing in 1st place and proving what hard work, teamwork, and determination can accomplish. 💛🤽‍♀️
