These things are about at foot long. Only found in the very deep, so I've never seen one on any shore dives 🤣.

Sole Searchers Picnic Beach Dive/BBQ on Saturday. We had great weather and some great diving fun. Entry and exit was easy with about 2ft waves and long lulls. Vis was average 12-15. We found some areas under the kelp teeming with life. We're talking about 15 male sheep heads just in one area with tons of lobsters in the reef cracks. Abalone, sea stars, moray, stingray, and even a leopard shark was spotted by Lars and his son, The temperature was about 63F on average. Great day! Thanks to everyone who came and brought a side dish, really appreciated the variety of food, and thank you grill master Jimmy Quan.
