I snapped this shot yesterday as I started falling backwards out of my first headstand without a wall and without props 🙃😯 I've always avoided unassisted headstands due to fear. The fear of falling, the fear of doubt. As I started to fall, I kept telling myself it wouldn't be that bad, and that this was a valiant effort. Well, my friends, it did hurt! But you know what? Without trying I'd never know what might happen. Maybe the next time I'll fall too. Or maybe next time I'll do exactly what I need to in order to stay up. So don't be afraid, don't fear the unknown, there's some fear in trying but a whole lot of fun too!
