Today is the day! Our doors are opening and we are officially kicking off SEASON 7 at Uplifting Movement Factory! ✨

There is something so special about the first day of a new dance season—the excitement, the nerves, seeing familiar faces again, welcoming new ones, and knowing we have an entire season of memories ahead of us. 🥹

This season, we’re ready for more than just dance.

What a wonderful way to wrap up Summerfest! ☀️🩷🩵

It makes me so happy to see how much Summerfest continues to grow and all that it brings to the Greenwood community and our surrounding communities. We were truly honored to not only participate in this year’s festivities, but also to be one of the many local businesses helping support this event.

One of our favorite things about UMF is having opportunities to show up for the communities that continue to show up for us. 🩷

Thank you to everyone who worked behind the scenes to make Summerfest happen, and to everyone who came out, supported the event, cheered along the parade route, and made the weekend so much fun!

And a special THANK YOU to Miss Samantha’s brother, Tony, for once again letting us use his trailer to create our float! 🩵 We also want to give a HUGE thank you to Kelly and Jeremy Young for pulling our float and helping make it possible for our UMF dancers to be part of the parade! We truly appreciate you! 💕

✨ POINT DANCE FESTIVAL ✨

What an incredible evening celebrating the art of dance! 🩰✨

We had the pleasure of attending the Point Dance Festival and experiencing an evening filled with incredibly talented dancers, choreographers, and artists. But for our UMF family, there was one person we were especially proud to be there supporting — our very own Miss Leah. 💕

We had the opportunity to watch Miss Leah take the stage as a performer in the works of other choreographers, and then experience something equally special — watching a piece choreographed by Miss Leah come to life through other dancers.

There is something incredibly powerful about watching someone you know and love as a teacher step into both roles — dancer and choreographer. Seeing Miss Leah’s artistry, creativity, and passion represented on that stage made us incredibly proud.

And perhaps the most meaningful part for us is knowing that she brings that same knowledge, passion, and artistry back to our dancers at UMF. Our students get to learn from someone who isn’t simply teaching dance — she is continuing to perform, create, challenge herself, and actively be part of the dance community.

Miss Leah, we are SO incredibly proud of you. We are honored to have you as part of UMF, and even more grateful for the example you set for the dancers who look up to you. 🖤

🌽✨ Loyal Cornfest Parade 2026! ✨🌽

What a FUN day for our UMF family at the Loyal Cornfest Parade! 🩷🩵

We are so incredibly proud of our dancers who came out to walk, dance, wave, smile, and represent Uplifting Movement Factory! Seeing our dancers together outside of the studio is always something special. From our littlest dancers to our older students, they represented UMF beautifully. 💕

A HUGE thank you to all of our UMF families who participated, helped decorate, walked alongside our dancers, and helped make the day run smoothly. Events like this truly take a village, and we are so grateful for ours!

And a very special thank you to Miss Samantha’s brother, Tony, for providing the trailer and pulling our UMF float through the parade! We truly couldn’t have done it without him, and we are so thankful he helped make another special memory possible for our dancers. 🩵

One of our favorite things about UMF is bringing our dancers together beyond the walls of the studio. These are the moments where friendships grow, memories are made, and our dancers get to simply enjoy being part of something together. ✨

We are incredibly proud of the UMF family we continue to build with dancers and families from throughout our surrounding communities. 🩷🩵

A huge congratulations to our very own Carter on being named to the 2026 Loyal Cornfest Little Royalty Court!

There is something so special about watching our dancers shine outside of the studio, too. Dance is about so much more than what happens on a stage. It helps build the confidence to stand tall, the courage to try something new, and the ability to step into our communities and represent them with pride. 💕

Our Amethyst classes are designed for dancers ages 5–9 who are ready to build their ballet technique, confidence, coordination, and love for dance! 🩰✨

With small class sizes, our dancers receive the individual attention they need while learning proper technique in a positive and encouraging environment.
