Blue Ridge Storm touched down in the USA Softball Edge Showcase in Raleigh NC this weekend and did big damage! 18 teams in the 16U age group from all over the east coast from Delaware to SC competed in front of multiple college coaches in a 5 game round robin format. Our girls competed with the best of them going 4-1 on the weekend and only lost the one game late after being up by 2 (6-4) going into last inning. We were one inning away from going undefeated. We got the attention of a lot of college coaches as well as a lot of teams. This little one off team stood toe to toe with the big organizations and left our mark. Could not be prouder of these young ladies and the way they have grown these last few months as we step up into high level showcase play. They are getting traction and making a name for themselves in the college showcase world. Thank you to all who support us as we continue to put these girls in front of the ones who could decide their future paths. We will not rest until every girl fulfills their dream of a college education thru what they love…softball. Together we are building their future!!!

Tryouts continue tomorrow night. Due to weather they have been moved indoors to Powerhouse in Lynchburg 7pm to 9pm. Hope to see you there!

Tryouts start tonight at Amherst County high school. 6pm to 8pm

Come join us for tryouts. We are considering all positions. We are a 16u team and schedule is showcase heavy to get our girls seen as much as possible.

All your support means the world to us especially as we are in this showcase journey. These events are more expensive but help our girls get seen by many different colleges all around.
