VBA - Virginia Bowhunters Association The purpose of VBA is to foster, expand and perpetuate the use of the bow in hunting all legal game, St.

During the year, the VBA:

-Hosts five state tournaments each year as well as more than 100 sanctioned club shoots

-Sponsors sponsors a state-wide charity shoot each year (e.g. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Children’s Miracle Network),
sponsors numerous club shoots for charity (e.g. Hunters4Hungry, March of Dimes),

-Offers an annual Conservation Scholarship for an eligible VBA member or immediate family member

-Conducts a quarterly meeting of all clubs and VBA officers to plan events and ensure smooth operation of the VBA

-Hosts an evolving and dynamic web site to inform all residents about archery activities in Virginia,

-Represents the VBA at various sportsmen shows throughout the year and much, much more!

Never shot an NFAA International Round? Here's your excuse. 🏹

You'll shoot 3 arrows per target from 20 to 65 yards, and we'll have the handicap system in effect for the Club Championship.

No entry fee. Kitchen open. And yes, there's a rather large belt buckle involved. 😎

We as a club have had a tough year losing two life members Lowell Nesselrodt July 25 and Butch Grim September 15. They were both very instrumental in building the Club and keeping it running. Their hours of selfless service to The club will not be forgotten. We will always keep their memory close to our hearts and smile when we see something around the club that they had a part of building ! Lowell & Butch rest easy friends we will join you on the big hunt before too long! SGBB members.
