We had a glorious fall day with which to enjoy Old Salem Farm jumper classes this past Sunday .

Katelyn Conley made her OSF debut with her Mavericks Northern Hotshot and earned a 2nd and 3rd in the .65 and .80 classes.

Cara Bailey and her Chabalou IK had improved jumping form ( due to improved flat work!) and
also earned 4ths in the 1.0m and 1.10m classes.

Diktators Giovanni V competed in the .80 and his first .90s and also garnered prizes although speed was not intended as we focused on the qualities of a course appropriate for young horses😊

Another stellar clinic on Columbus day weekend with Dr. Gerd Heuschmann
hosted by Kim Fridgen and Partners In Performance.

Priceless information and one on once guidance in classical training methods which put the horse’s body and mind first and foremost.

If you have ever or never thought your training/ riding methods could be better, then definitely look into the classical approach. It is a journey that you will not regret ❤️

Sunday we enjoyed the wonderful Fall weather at one of our favored show venues , Mystic Valley Hunt Club!

Katelyn Conley and her Mavericks Northern Hot Shot made their debut with multiple well ridden rounds and champion in the low training jumpers .
Thank you to Jordan Laplaca for the opportunity to own this very special horse !

Sarah Botthof’s Bronx Balou stepped it up to the high ct hunters with two wins over fences and reserve champion.

Kat Kronengold’s tasty little Irish powdered doughnut , Erin Go Bragh, won two training hunter classes earning him champion . For an inexperienced fella , he’s pretty smart. His previous owners said he went to bed early and read a lot …🤓

Catching up on some showing ! We had many riders compete at The Pines Hunter Derby on a beautiful course and day. Everybody had excellent rounds . Some unfortunate errors kept some out of the ribbons although everybody had at least one stellar round !

Natalie Reinhardt and Chance of a Lifetieme had a gr

Elizabeth Bracken piloting Olivia Kalmar ‘s CR Justified was out big prize winner , earning
second out of a fields of 21 in the sapling derby .

Vanessa Ryan riding FCFs Shadow King executed the calmest and most solid debut in a rated show that I may have ever seen !

Mikes Skurkis and King Cavalier had a dazzling handy round with an 84 score.

Sarah Botthof and Bronx Balou had solid rounds and great teamwork !

Natalie Reinhardt and Chance of A Lifetime had a great first round of 78!

Erin Go Bragh as a baby horse with only two away shoe under his belt matched around though the deep footing ( because he hunted in Ireland as n even more baby horse ) and earned a 78 in the handy . Just wait till this dude gets his changes !!

Thank you to our whole FCF crew who participated . It was a show party !

Last week at Old Salem‘s summer Jumper classic 2*, Ludovico P.D. and Kristen had some great shapes!
They also earned a fantastic third place finish out of a field of 64 entries in the 1.20 M speed class.

Thank you to Peter Leone for the excellent coaching. And also thank you to Vanessa Ryan, we could not have done it without you!

Talent and hard work isn’t everything, you need the right people and team around you to be successful!
