MRC Memorial Day Race Recap and Reload

Respectable turnout after rainout Fri, Sat, Sun.
The boys were itching to race and race they did.

40+
Old guy started us off with a lil mud slinging but a full class, and sun starting to peek out, traction came up quick and our slow walking old guys showed lots of speed. Joe Dillon takes spot spot, Chris Schweter 2, Rob Hodges 3.

Truggy
Jackson Neer all the way!
Another full class and with BIG trugs eating up dirt, racing was exciting. Phil Carey had chase but DNF due to ????, so Jackson had the clear. Kevin Simms 2, W**d Whacker 3.

Ebuggy
Jackson was also dominating in Ebug during qualifying but Ben Moisio figured out his car and put on quite the performance for the main. Ben 1, Jackson 2, and Big Daddy Van S***z 3.
Congrats to Chris "w**d whacker" Schweter on double podium, and he was not gonna show, he thought it'd be too wet to race... When in doubt due to rain...show up ready to race. MRC drains well and dry quick

Might be a lil later start as the track is still soaking up the rain, but track will be good...very good by race time. Pack up your gear and let's race.

MRC Friday Night Lights Rain Date...

Was hopeful the weather would cooperate and let FNL happen, but it's looking like rain all weekend start Friday evening. So....

MRC Memorial Day Race will be on Monday, actually Memorial Day.
Timer on at 10am,
Racing at noon.

🏁Last Friday Nights for the season and it was awesome.
Stacked out pits and the track speed quite impressive. 2 heets in Truggy and 3 in Ebuggy.

We rode the outdoor RC wave as long as possible and it was quite the ride.
Lots of new faces, great times with old friends, plenty of wheels falling off, and a plethora of fantastic racing.
BIG shout-out to Medina Parks for giving us this awesome venue, and thank you all for supporting RC racing in Northeast Ohio. We will be back next spring for more RC shenanigans in 2026.
We are switching to indoor RC at Racink, home of FNL (Friday Night Lights).
Doors open at 5pm
Qualifiers start at 7pm.

B-Main (Joes) had triple bumps into the Big show.
1st-Bizzle, 2nd-Dean Z, 3rd- Kevin Simms

Ebuggy was Blake Lisiki tone to tone 1st. Bill Peters 2nd, and "I can't believe I got podium" Rob Hodges for 3rd.

Truggy had Bill Peters running flawless for 1st, Blake had speed, but a few too many wrecks for 2nd, and Kevin Simms 3rd.

Summer Slam Recap

Lots of track time for the fellas. Track was very racy and blue- grooved up in spots. Nitros kicked off the rounds, always exciting to see nitros scream. A treat we don't always get at MRC. Aaron Buran was on point for the win. John Kuhn 2

Truggy had epic battles all day. Super fast and clean, the BIG boys weren't messing around. Full speed tone to tone.

Wrapping up the Slam classes was Ebuggy. AB again was just too much to handle as MRC is his home track as he's too smooth in the corners for the competition.
