Join us this Sunday, September 13, 2026 at the Sunken Horse Saloon/Deadhorse Lodge from 11am to 3pm to celebrate the 100 Year Anniversary of the Turtle Flambeau Flowage. Presentations included the WI DNR at 11:30am, Mike Hittle (author of An Accidental Jewel) at 1pm, and Jeff Wilson (author of Wrong Tree) at 2pm. The Mercer Historical Society will have a booth with information.

For generations, the Turtle-Flambeau Flowage has been part of what makes the Mercer area so special — a place to fish, paddle, camp, explore, make memories and simply enjoy the Northwoods.
This year, we get to celebrate a pretty incredible milestone: 100 years! 💯
