Other days you earn something harder to hang around your neck.

Composure when your heart is racing.
Courage when everyone is watching.
Respect when the match is over.
Confidence that only comes from stepping onto the floor and finding out what you’re made of.

That was the LivToServe Classic. 🥋🔥

A room full of competitors willing to be tested, families willing to cheer until they had nothing left, and a community that showed up in a big way.

The medals were awesome.

But the moments behind them were even better.

Sometimes martial arts looks nothing like martial arts.

No mats. No medals. No spotlight. Just rolling up our sleeves, working together, and finding a way to help. 🖤💛

We say Live to Serve, but those words only matter if we’re willing to live them. Grateful for the opportunity to give a little time, do a little work, and hopefully make someone’s day a little easier.

The LivToServe Classic is HERE! Today, we get to watch all those extra repetitions, after-class practices, and “let me try that again” moments come together in the ring.

To every competitor: trust your training and give it everything you’ve got. There’s a whole crew behind you, and we’re ready to get LOUD! 💪

Parents and teammates, bring that energy! Cheer for your kid. Cheer for their opponent. And cheer especially loud for the student stepping into the ring for the very first time. That takes guts, and it deserves a crowd. 👏

Today, we’re thinking about the people who went to work, boarded a plane, or answered a call on September 11 and never came home.

We’re thinking about their families, too. So much of life has happened since that morning, and they’ve had to go through it without someone they love.

We remember those who risked their lives to help others, and those still living with what they experienced that day.

To everyone missing someone today, our hearts are with you. We haven’t forgotten. 🇺🇸
