🥊 IRONCLAD MIDWEEK DEVOTIONAL 🥊

Scripture:

“Don’t be afraid, Daniel,” he said to me, “for from the first day that you purposed to understand and to humble yourself before your God, your prayers were heard. I have come because of your prayers.”
— Daniel 10:12

Daniel had been praying and waiting for an answer.

And when the answer finally came, Daniel learned something powerful:

God had heard him from the very first day.

Sometimes we pray and nothing seems to happen.

We ask God for direction.
We pray for our families.
We pray about things we’re struggling with.
We ask Him to change situations that seem like they aren’t changing at all.

And silence can make us wonder, “God, are You even hearing me?”

Daniel 10 reminds us that waiting does not mean God isn’t listening.

Daniel didn’t see what was happening. He didn’t have all the answers. But he kept seeking God.

So keep praying.

Keep seeking Him.

Keep trusting Him even when you haven’t seen the answer yet.

God’s silence is not proof of God’s absence.

Prayer:

King Jesus, help me trust You when I’m waiting. Remind me that You hear me, even when I can’t see what You’re doing. Give me patience, faith, and a heart that keeps seeking You. Amen.

Wow!!! Huge thank you to all of Ironclad Boxing gyms followers for getting us over 1,000 followers to the page! So thankful to everyone who has supported the gym throughout our first year and a half. Stay tuned we’re busy fighting and scheduling more fights and fighting for championships with different promotions!! And the kids will be back fighting in Dec looks like so we will have more content including our youth fights as well! As always Iron sharpens iron !

Scripture:

“Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.”
— Romans 12:2

In boxing, you can’t grow if you refuse to change.

A coach points out a bad habit, you work on it, and little by little you become a different fighter.

Jesus does the same with us.

The world will constantly tell you how to think, what to chase, how to talk, and how to live.

But we don’t belong to the world. We belong to Christ.

Following Jesus means allowing Him to change us from the inside out.

The way we think.
The words we speak.
The things we chase.
The way we treat people.
The decisions we make when nobody is watching.

None of us have arrived. We’re being transformed.

So today, don’t ask, “What is everybody else doing?”

Ask, “Does this look like Jesus?”

Prayer:

King Jesus, renew my mind today. Change the things in me that don’t honor You and give me courage to live differently from the world around me. Make me more like You. Amen.

“Whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.” — 1 Corinthians 10:31

In boxing, how you train when nobody is watching matters.

Life is no different.

Following Jesus isn’t just about what we say we believe. It’s about how we live when we leave the gym, church, or the people who hold us accountable.

How we treat people.
How we speak.
How we handle pressure.
How we respond when things don’t go our way.

Every part of our lives is an opportunity to represent King Jesus.

So wherever this week takes you, carry Him with you.

Work hard.
Stay humble.
Love people.
Give God the glory.

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, help me live in a way that points people to You. Let my words, attitude, and actions bring You glory wherever I go. Amen.
