Congrats to Our very Own Kai Yanagabashi 'Man of the Match'. Kai has been playing Academy Soccer in Spain since Graduating High School. We caught up with Kai last week. "I played at SWAT from 8th grade all the way up through High School. I was playing a year up, which constantly challenged me physically and mentally. But from the supportive environment SWAT created and taught, to the coaches always pushing me in practice and all the summer workouts we'd do to prepare for the season, they helped me gain confidence and motivation to keep working hard and fighting for my dream. Important update from U.S. Youth Soccer ⚽
Starting in the 2026/27 season, age groups will align closer to school year (Aug 1–July 31) instead of birth year.

We’re working closely with our coaches to make this transition clear, thoughtful, and low-stress for our families.
More details coming soon—including meetings and an age-group chart.

Spring 2026 is not impacted.

Our SWAT ‘14G – BM (SFC) team had an awesome couple of events recently! 🙌

💛 On Referee Appreciation Day (Sept. 27, 2025), the girls showed great sportsmanship by thanking the refs who keep our games fair and fun. A simple “thanks, ref!” goes a long way — and they did it with smiles and class! 👏

💜 Then on Oct. 2, the team headed to Weber State Women’s Soccer match for a fun night of team bonding and inspiration. They cheered loud, supported local players, and soaked up the college-level energy! ⚽🎉
