We’re excited to announce that the Green Demon Barbell Booster Club is almost ready to officially kick off!

We’re currently wrapping up the final details for our nonprofit organization. Once everything is finalized, we’ll open memberships as soon as possible. We can’t wait to get started!

Who should join?

Everyone who believes in supporting our student-athletes!

Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, family member, alumni, former lifter, local business, or simply someone who loves supporting Mamou athletics, we’d love to have you as part of our booster club.

Our powerlifters dedicate countless hours to training, competing, and representing our school with pride. The Green Demon Barbell Booster Club exists to help provide the resources they need to be successful throughout the season. Memberships and fundraising efforts help support equipment, meet expenses, team meals, athlete recognition, apparel, and other program needs that aren’t always covered.

Calling all Freshmen and transfers! This evening, come check out our table to sign up for our team. It doesn’t matter how strong you are; we will take you in build you up everyday we’ll strive to make you a better person, stronger, and teammate everyday!

Another Saturday another powerlifting weekend! Some of our more seasoned lifters went to LSU powerlifting’s High School Outreach day. Where they went through our 3 competition lifts, and got instruction from the LSU team members and Head Coach Demerrius Slocum. We would like to thank LSU for making this available to high school lifters looking to go on to the next level.

As we come out of summer training, we would like to throw some weight around for you all. Our boys coming off a top 10 finish at state and our girls’ come off a State Runner-Up campaign. We are set up for an excellent and exciting year, but we need financial support. Thank you for your charity and support for Green Demon Powerlifting! When you have Mamou High School Demon Band camp at 9am but you are also chasing gains you come at 6:30am to get squats in. Thanks to Iron Empire for always helping us out in letting us use their facility.
