We are thrilled to welcome to MCB as she creates a world premiere for the company. Her new work hits the stage this spring as part of our Icons & Innovators program.

In the studio, the piece is unfolding one rehearsal at a time—through collaboration, curiosity, experimentation, and the countless small discoveries that ultimately become something much bigger onstage.

With pup Nyla nearby for a little creative supervision, of course! 🐾

The teachers became the students this week. ✨

We welcomed National Dance Institute to MCB for two days of moving, learning, experimenting, and sharing new ideas—all centered around the power of dance to connect and inspire.

Our Community Engagement teaching artists will take what they’ve learned beyond our studios and into classrooms and communities for our dance education programs across South Florida, sharing the joy of dance with the next generation. Two pretty special days of learning, connection, and creativity at MCB. ❤️

There’s no standing still in N.Y. Export: Opus Jazz.

Every step has a pulse. Every gesture has an attitude. Our dancers are finding all the details that give Jerome Robbins’ choreography its signature edge.

A little more Opus Jazz, in motion. Catch the company premiere as part of American Rhythms, Oct 16-25 in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale.

What does a new ballet look like before it becomes a ballet? A count. A correction. A new idea tried in real time. Then again, differently.

Step inside the studio with Patricia Delgado and our dancers, where the choreography is still evolving, changing from one rehearsal to the next.

This is the part you don’t always get to see.

See World Premiere in American Rhythms, October 16–25 in Miami & Fort Lauderdale.

Sneakers. Street energy. Jerome Robbins.

N.Y. Export: Opus Jazz is back in the studio—and bringing a rhythm all its own.

This week, our dancers are diving into Robbins’ iconic ballet with JP Frohlich, exploring the movement, musicality, and unmistakable energy that make this work unlike anything else.

A glimpse inside the studio as it all starts to take shape.

This year, Master Classes brought the beauty and discipline of ballet to students across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties, reaching 186 students, offering immersive, hands-on instruction led by professional teaching artists. 🩰✨

Thanks to the generous support of the City of Miami Beach, The Jorge M. Pérez Family Foundation at The Miami Foundation, young dancers had the opportunity to deepen their technique, build confidence, and experience ballet in an engaging and accessible way.

We are proud to continue expanding access to high-quality dance education and supporting the next generation of artists across South Florida. 💫
