💙 Our YMCA community has always shown up for one another, and today we’re asking for your help.
One of our valued members, Steven Goldin, is in need of a kidney transplant and is searching for a kidney donor.
If you’ve ever considered donating a kidney, now may be the opportunity to change someone’s life.
The good news is, you don’t have to be a match to help. Through the National Kidney Registry, healthy donors may still help Steven receive the kidney he needs. Eligible donors may also receive reimbursement for certain donation-related expenses.

Disability Pride Month reminds us that true community includes everyone. At the Old Colony Y, we’re proud to celebrate the strength, talents and stories of people with disabilities, and we’re committed to creating spaces where everyone belongs, feels seen, and thrives.
This month and every month, we lift up the voices of our members and staff with disabilities and keep working to break down barriers.
