Pleasant View Golf Course

It’s been a dry stretch, and our maintenance team has been putting in the extra work to keep Pleasant View in great shape.

While our irrigation system does a great job overall, it doesn’t always reach every spot evenly—especially during extended periods without rain.

Hand-watering allows our crew to target those dry areas and keep our turf as healthy and playable as possible.

The next time you see our team out with a hose, you’ll know it’s all part of the effort to provide the best possible conditions for your round. We appreciate your patience if you need to wait a moment while they’re watering, and we certainly appreciate all the hard work our maintenance staff puts in every day!

A few seconds can make a big difference.

Every ball mark that gets repaired helps keep our greens smooth, healthy, and enjoyable for everyone. An unrepaired ball mark can take weeks to heal, while one that’s properly fixed recovers much faster.

The next time you hit the green, take a moment to fix yours—and if you see another nearby, repair that one too. Small acts like this make a huge difference for every golfer who plays after you.

Watching kids experience their first round of golf on their own is pretty special.

Hear what Leo and Henry enjoyed most about the experience—from learning the importance of pace of play to having the freedom to focus on each shot and spend a little extra time on the putting green without feeling rushed.

The Billy Goat Par 3 Course gives young golfers a chance to build confidence, learn the game, and enjoy a little independence in a relaxed setting. It was fun watching Leo and Henry take that next step, and we can’t wait to see more young golfers do the same.

Why the 10-minute and 12-minute tee time intervals?

At Pleasant View Golf Course, we’re always looking for ways to create the best possible experience for everyone on the course.

Spacing tee times at 10-minute intervals (and 12 minutes during our busiest times and on the Billy Goat Par 3 Course) helps reduce backups before they start. It gives groups a little more room to get settled on the first tee, allows rounds to flow more naturally, and creates a less stressful experience for golfers and our staff.

We know waiting isn’t fun, but a few extra minutes between tee times often means less waiting once you’re out on the course.
