🖤💙🥍 Senior Spotlight: Noah Wade 🖤💙🥍

Noah has been playing lacrosse since he was introduced to it in 2nd grade through an afterschool program at Winterpock Elementary School. Never one to jump in with both feet, he took his time and ended up loving the sport. From there, his gazelle legs took him to Chesterfield Youth Lacrosse and then on to travel lacrosse with VA Roughriders, River City Elite, Fusion, Venom and True RVA. Noah’s strong work ethic, gentle heart and natural leadership abilities brought him to Cosby lacrosse where he started in 8th grade and is now one of the 3 captains in his Senior year.

We are so proud of Noah’s academic accomplishments, but more importantly we love that he has found a place within school to share his heart with his “friends” in Unified PE. Participating since its inception at Cosby, Noah enjoys playing with, and refereeing games with his friends from class. He received All County with his partner Diana in Bocce Ball his Junior year.

When Noah isn’t playing lacrosse, you’ll find him hanging with his buddies, playing basketball, pickle ball, working at Woodlake Swim and Racket Club, or hanging at the beach skim or boogie boarding.

Noah plans to attend Virginia Tech 🧡♥️ in the Fall where he will study Sociology.

We are so very proud of the person you are becoming Noah and we can’t wait to see you shine in the next chapter. Go HOKIES!

🖤💙🥍 Senior Spotlight: Mcrae Lambert 🖤💙🥍

We are proud to recognize our senior captain, Mcrae Lambert!

Mcrae has been playing lacrosse for over a decade, beginning his journey with CYL before continuing his development with Rough Riders, River City Elite, Venom, and True RVA. A dedicated member of the Cosby program since 8th grade and a Heart of a Titan award winner, Mcrae has been a consistent varsity contributor and leader, setting the standard for work ethic, toughness, and team culture throughout his career.

Off the field, Mcrae enjoys spending time with friends and family, bringing the same loyalty and energy he shows on the field into everything he does.

This fall, Mcrae will continue his academic and athletic career at Brigham Young University 💙🤍 where he plans to major in Mechanical Engineering. He also plans to take a two year break from university to serve a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the summer of 2027.  The future is bright for him—keep leading the way, Mcrae!

We are grateful for the impact you’ve made and proud to have you as a huge part of the Cosby Lacrosse family.

🏆 Hard Hard MVP’s against Freeman: Gavin Godfrey

Trusting the process. After working hard to get back to 100%, it’s amazing to see Gavin back on the field doing his thing. That’s why he’s this week’s HH. 1 Goal 1 Assist, but the real win is being healthy. Keep hustling G! 🖤💙🥍

🖤💙🥍 Senior Spotlight: Logan Rigby 🖤💙🥍

Logan first picked up lacrosse in 7th grade after moving to Virginia from Texas. Over the past several years, he has dedicated himself to developing his skills both on and off the field, and he looks forward to continuing his lacrosse career this fall at University of Mary Washington 💙🩶 where he plans to study biology with the goal of attending medical school.

Outside of lacrosse, Logan enjoys fishing and exploring nature. He is also a devoted Buckeye fan—fittingly, as he was born at The Ohio State University Medical Center overlooking “The Horseshoe.”

Logan will be deeply missed, but his family eagerly looks forward to cheering him on in this next chapter. We are incredibly proud of the person he has become and all that lies ahead.

Way to go Rigby!!!

🖤💙🥍 Senior Spotlight: Porter Bresnahan 🖤💙🥍

Porter Bresnahan (brez-nuh-HAN) started playing lacrosse in the 2nd grade...along with many of his fellow seniors, and began focusing on Faceoffs in 5th grade. He hasn’t looked back. Stoic, cerebral and calm...he possesses the perfect traits for a FOGO and an outstanding student.

He also enjoys pickleball, golf and spicy Wawa chicken sandwiches. He plans to continue his education at George Washington University 💙where he’d like to pursue Political Science/Pre Law.

We cannot wait to see where you land, Porter, because we know you’re going to fly. It has been a pleasure to watch you play Bird-in-Hand.

🖤💙🥍 Senior Spotlight: Parker Morrow 🖤💙🥍

Parker played football until Chase Bradley introduced him to lacrosse in 4th grade. After one season of CYL, he knew lacrosse was his sport. He joined the Roughriders Club team that summer, and from that point on, he never looked back.

Over the years, Parker has played defense, LSM, defensive middie, and now two-way middie. He has always been willing to learn, grow, and step into whatever role his team needed most.

Lacrosse has given Parker so much more than just a sport. It has given him some of his very best friends, and over the years, those friendships have become like family. The memories, the bond with his teammates, and the brotherhood they built will stay with him forever. His closest friends will always be known as RCE, River City Elite, the club team they started together and worked so hard to build. We are also so thankful for the friendships this game brought into all of our lives.

After high school, Parker will be attending James Madison University 💜💛 where he plans to major in IT and hopes to continue playing club lacrosse. Outside of lacrosse, he enjoys going to the gym, playing basketball, and golf.

Watching Parker play lacrosse has been one of our greatest joys. We are so proud of the player he has become, but even more proud of the young man he is. It is bittersweet to see this chapter come to an end, but we are so thankful for the memories, friendships, and life lessons lacrosse has given him.

🖤💙🥍 Senior Spotlight: Peyton Challis 🖤💙🥍

Peyton has been playing lacrosse for 12 years, and for Cosby since 8th grade. He’s tough as nails and always the one to carry the heaviest load, so goalie was a natural fit from the start. When he’s not playing lacrosse, you’ll find him fishing, duck hunting, or doing just about anything else he can find outdoors. He will be attending East Carolina University 💜💛 in the fall, majoring in Construction Management. We’ll miss him, but are excited to see him pursue his dreams!

Peyton, we will miss your steady presence in the goal next year, but know the legacy you’ve created will live on in the next gen. Let’s GO PEY-TON!

🖤💙🥍 Senior Spotlight: Preston McAfee 🖤💙🥍

We are so proud of Preston’s hard work and dedication; it truly sets him apart. It’s determination and athleticism that has enabled him to jump onto the lacrosse field and add to the team despite this being the first time he’s played.

Football is his passion; playing since he was in eighth grade and being on the Varsity team for all four years of high school. In the off season, Preston can be seen at the Y working out, playing pickleball or in previous years sprinting for the track team. Preston works as a lifeguard in the summer and at Latitude during the school year.

And it doesn’t stop there—Preston has over a 4.0 GPA! He’s taking AP and honors classes and is learning about electricity through the tech center. This is a testament to his focus and drive in the classroom.

He’s headed to Hampden Sydney ❤️🩶in the fall to play footfall for the Tigers. From giving it his all on the football field, to pushing limits in track, and trying a new sport, he shows what it means to be committed both in athletics and in life.

Congratulations, and we are so proud of you!
