This group got to experience English football firsthand, watching Burnley battle back from 2–0 down to earn a 2–2 draw against West Ham. An exciting match and an electric atmosphere from start to finish!

What a week in England! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿⚽

Today, our U16/U17s have been right in the heart of it again — including a training and hydrotherapy recovery session run by England Performance Center Staff at St. George’s Park, followed by taking in Championship Opening Weekend with Sheffield United vs. Birmingham live.

After going inside the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium yesterday, our U14/U15s explored London today and finished the day watching Chelsea vs. Real Sociedad at Stanford Bridge. it’s been unforgettable at every turn!

Different groups, same mission: learn, compete, and experience the game at its best. This week is one for the books. 🖤

Lots of fun happening in England, but the atmosphere back home in Richmond has been pretty special too! 🔥⚽

This week we welcomed our Academy Director, Sergio, and the energy at training has been incredible. 🔥🔥 A big thank you to our players for bringing the intensity and passion to the field. That energy is what sets the tone!

Yesterday was an incredible day for our Virginia Velocity Academy players!

Our U14/U15 group got high-level session at Manchester City, training with Man City coaches before going straight into a competitive match against Airbus UK Broughton.

Our U16/U17 group experienced the history of Anfield before finishing the day under the lights in a match against Frodsham JFC.

It’s more than training and matches—it’s about challenging our players, exposing them to new environments, and creating experiences that help shape their development.🖤
