Help us wish a HUGE Happy 10th Birthday to one of the members of the RISE Black 10U family — Hudson Armstrong!🥳🖤❤️ 🎉⚾️
When it comes to the plate, Hudson brings some serious offensive power… although he has already developed a pretty impressive talent for taking the free pass! 😂 This year, Hudson has actually been walked and hit by more pitches than he has official at-bats! And speaking of getting hit… this kid has proven to be a bit of a ball magnet already, wearing multiple pitches this season. 💥😳
But when pitchers decide to actually throw Hudson a strike, that might just be their mistake.😤🔥 Hudson attacks the baseball with aggression and power, and when he squares one up, he can do some serious damage!
Defensively, Hudson has primarily made his home at 3B, but he has also shown the versatility to step in at 1B, catcher, and the OF whenever his team needs him. 💪⚾️
But as good as Hudson can be on the field, what stands out most is the kid and teammate he is off the field. Hudson has some of the best manners you'll find, is always polite, genuinely loves his teammates and the game, and would prefer to stay as far away from the spotlight as possible. 😂 In fact, you can't even get the kid to let everyone sing Happy Birthday to him!
And maybe nothing shows how much Hudson loves this team more than how he chose to celebrate his birthday. 🎂❤️🖤 Instead of a typical birthday party, Hudson had his party at RISE, with all of his teammates invited!
And after a TWO-HOUR practice, you know what these boys wanted to do?
MORE BASEBALL.😂⚾️
Yep… straight from practice into a little wiffle ball because apparently two hours of baseball wasn't nearly enough!
That's Hudson — a great player, an even better teammate, and a kid who genuinely loves the game and the people he gets to play it with.
Happy Birthday, Hudson!🎉 We hope #33 has an awesome day filled with family, friends, teammates, and of course… plenty of baseball! ⚾️🔥🥳🎂🖤❤️
