Congratulations to U19 RISE athlete Maeve Carmody (U18 - oprfhs_fh - 𝙆𝙀𝙉𝙏 𝙎𝙏𝘼𝙏𝙀 𝙁𝙄𝙀𝙇𝘿 𝙃𝙊𝘾𝙆𝙀𝙔 commit) and U14 Blue athlete Collins Flannick (U14 Alternate - Oak Park, IL) on their selections to the Junior Nexus Championship with USA Field Hockey ! Our first RISE athletes to earn this honor! We are so proud of you!

Summer League last night 🔥🔥🔥

Great job RISE! The spring/summer travel field hockey season flew by. We concluded this weekend in Kentucky!

Big thanks to all the RISE 🏑 families for their commitment to weeknight/weekend training and travel. We strive to be a club that welcomes multi-sport athletes - huge shoutout to the families that find a way to balance so much, bringing high level commitment, competitiveness, and character.

Good luck to athletes starting their high school training camps and college season prep! Summer League and Preseason Prep camps are available through the summer months. For the littles, we will see you in August when we resume training!

Congratulations to U19 Rise athlete Elly Ransel on her commitment to the University of Rochester! Elly is both a field hockey force AND academic weapon. Some of her academic accolades include: West Suburban Conference Academic Achievement Award recipient, Illinois State Scholar, GBW School Recognition Award, President’s Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement, the seal of biliteracy in Spanish, National Honor Society, and national Academic Squad.

On the pitch, Elly captained the varsity Glenbard West squad and was All-Conference and received the All-Star Award. She has been a critical spark for both GBW and her RISE teams over the years. Elly is a natural leader and tough competitor who creates play up the left side of the field. Her defensive ability allows her to generate dangerous counter-attacks and she has become adept at scoring, winning corners, and setting up her teammates. She has a knack for getting a stick on rocket corner shots for deflections - the epitome of her fearlessness. We are proud of your hard work, Elly, and so excited for this next step. Rochester got a good one!

Our 8th grade Glen Ellyn RISE players passed through the stick arch last week and met their High School coach. Best of luck to all these girls at the next level. We missed you Paige! See you all on Memorial Field.
