I had a special request for these hen on a nest soap holders this week. I love how they turned out! They hold the bath and body works soap bottles. I am taking orders for these. If you would like one they are $15 and I have multiple colors available.

Alright, you guys asked for it and I made it! We will have some death spiral hot sauce out there. This sauce is not for the faint of heart. It will light you up. I had to cover my nose and mouth with my shirt and hand while blending it. This stuff is no joke. If you like it HOT then this sauce is for you. ALSO, we have raw local honey again!! I know a lot of you have been waiting for its return. We will be open 9-7 tomorrow. Come on by ❤️🍞🌶️🍯

I am constantly finding trash in my yard/garden. If you are one of the disgusting human beings that continues to do this I’m going to pray for you.
I pray your pillow is always warm on both sides
I pray you always step on a lego
I pray you hit every red light on your way home
I pray you get a hang nail
And I pray that every time you go to pump gas it says please see cashier.

I recently saw a post from a FL gardener that really bugged me. This person has 100k plus followers. Her post was talking about starting your fall garden. But her list has summer crops mixed with winter crops. Now maybe the actual list she sends out is better, but what she had listed in her photo would be very confusing for a beginner gardener. Not only that, it would be a waste of time and money for that person if they started seeds based off of her photo alone. And let’s be honest, most people are going to see that and run with it. It got me thinking, no wonder so many people struggle here with gardening, when so many “influencers” make posts just for engagement instead of to actually teach. So this is a post for all you beginners that I hope really helps you understand fall and winter crops and when to start them. Keep in mind, our temps do not drop below 80 degrees daily until about October.

FL fall crops (basically another round of summer crops) You can start these now. I wouldn’t wait any longer:
Tomatoes
Corn
Beans
Eggplant
Melons
Okra
Squash
Peppers

FL winter crops Start end of September beginning of October. I personally start the first week of October:
Greens
Brassicas
Cabbage
Brussels
Carrots (November)
Celery
Peas
Garlic (make sure to vernalize and I plant mine in November)
Onions (short day variety and I plant in November)
Lettuce
Potatoes

I truly hopes this help someone out there on their gardening journey. As always, if you have any questions, I’m happy to help.

You might notice a new piece of equipment out there this weekend! We have added a mini fridge. This heat has been rough and we didn’t like how it was melting the treats. Plus now we can also offer fresh herbs from the garden! It will be stocked tomorrow with some yummy treats from Baked Gems and fresh herbs! We will also have some salted maple banana bread and lots of fresh sourdough.

Just look at that beautiful golden color 😍 I had an abundance of orange and yellow jalapenos, so I made a jalapeno hot sauce out of them today. It did not disappoint either. The flavor is amazing. It’s a medium heat with a tiny hint of sweet at the end. I didn’t realize I was out of hot sauce bottles until it was too late. But oh well. These bottles will work. I’ll have some sauce out there this weekend if you want to try it.
