Hey guys! Sorry we have been so quiet. We are still here. As you can see, I still can not open the stand. There is way too much debris to open up safely. Our street is lined with it too. Making it hard for cars to drive down. We are also still waiting on insurance to help us get on the road to repairing the damage to our home. We were told it will be a large claim and those can take longer to process. There is so much up in the air right now and I really wish I could open up the doors. It’s hard not having an income on top of all of this. I’m hoping that this will be cleaned up soon, but I also know that they are working as hard as they possibly can, and that side streets will probably come last. 💔

I made creamy chicken ramen tonight and I know a lot of yall will appreciate the color of these yolks 😍🥚 My girls are free range in the backyard and are fed a local feed from Richburg Farms. Link in the comments if you want to order. We love it and you can’t beat the price either.

Our home was hit hard. We had 2 trees fall on our house, creating 3 new skylights. One also appears to have caused some serious structural damage. The garden is destroyed, the new fence is damaged and it’s just overall a mess. Thankfully everyone is safe and we had no injuries or casualties including the animals. While we get everything back in order, I’ll be closed down for awhile. Thank you all for understanding. Prayers to everyone who was affected by this hurricane. ❤️

Don’t ask me how you can wake up at 4 am and then completely forget to put bread in the oven until 7 am 🤷🏼‍♀️ Needless to say, we will be opening late today. I’ll have the bread out there around 10:30-11 🤦🏼‍♀️ Sorry for the inconvenience guys

I can’t wait until I am getting these egg colors again. My girls are going through a hard molt. They are looking pretty rough out there lol and aren’t giving us many eggs.

It looks like we are going to have some rough weather this weekend. So I’ll be baking up some extra regular loaves for Thursday pick up. These won’t be flavored. If you want to reserve any, let me know before 11 tomorrow. Depending on the news about the storms arrival day, I might be making some for Friday pick up too.

We are looking for vendors for our indoor farmers market located at 7476 Deck st in Milton right near whiting field. A place that will be open 5 days a week, where local vendors can basically have their own small store front. And where the community can find local goods on a daily basis. Vendors could now have consistent visibility and accessibility, and the community wouldn’t have to wait for just one day a week to get their favorite local products. This is a big space. So we want all the traditional farmers market type items, but would like to add a few resell booths in there as well. We also plan is to use this space to teach classes. To help the community grow and learn to be more self sufficient and creative. If you’re a local vendor please message me and I can send you all the info.

It doesn’t look like we will be opening up today or this weekend at all. I do have 5 loaves of regular sourdough in the oven right now as I type this. If youre looking for a fresh loaf let me know. I can set it outside for a porch pick up once they are cooled.

We are opening up an indoor farmers market and tomorrow, September 30th from 4-7 at 7476 Deck St. in Milton is our open house for potential vendors. Come check out the space, get your questions answered, and hear what we have planned. We will have applications ready if it’s something you think you’re interested in doing. We are excited to be able to offer this to the community and are looking forward to meeting everyone tomorrow.
