The beautiful speech by Chad Gable after losing his match against El Grande Americano:

"I put on this mask to learn the culture of Mexico, to understand and defeat the luchadores that I hated so much. During that journey, I learned everything about lucha libre, Mexico, AAA, Mexican culture, and its people. And I am man enough to admit it I stand here not as a mask, but as a man.

But tonight... tonight I could not defeat the spirit of the people of Mexico.

Tonight, I look you straight in the eyes and tell you face to face: from this moment on, you are the one and only Grande Americano.

My name is Chad Gable. I was born on March 8, 1986, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States of America. I have spent 13 years in professional wrestling.

This was my mask, but the honor of lucha libre demands the truth. Monterrey... Mexico... mark my words: I don't know when, and I don't know how, but Chad Gable will return to Lucha Libre AAA.

In my real life I am a personal care assistant. I work with guys with Down syndrome, autism and cerebral palsy. Two months ago I tested out a class for some of the guys I know and we had so much fun.
