On this day one year ago I was competing in my first heat in DS1 with Lars at the World Championships. What no one probably knows is I was so nervous I had made myself sick and nearly scratched. I had thought I was done mentally and physically after competing 2 days in a row of bikejor. I never would have forgiven myself if I did!

We did another thing last weekend! Comet and Yeti entered Junior Pursuit and both achieved their first passes.

Safe to say they take after their GSP relatives, natural coursers with Comet receiving the Outstanding Run of the day award. 🏆

Second last race of the season dusted! Off to Stanthorpe for the very last race of our 2026 season. Always sad to see it end but we are walking away with many memories and riding a high of a whole year in 2D with PBs and confidence under our belts 🫶🏼

This throuple looks familiar 👩🏼👩🏽👩🏼‍🦰

That’s right - I teamed up with Karen Simmons and Lindsay Rhianwyn Cameron for a second year running to defend our Muster Relay title. Two of my dogs joined the team again, Lindsay racing with Yeti in Cani, and me racing the Scooter leg with Comet ☄️ Karen and LJ reprised their place in bikejor!

We were so close to first but finished in a tight 2nd place. I’m very proud of our team, and most importantly my dogs. Yeti handled that cani mass-start like a pro (props to Lindsay for staying upright), and Comet was brilliantly focused in his scooter leg racing alongside Scott and Buddy for a while with no fuss. I can’t ask much more of my dogs, or my teammates! 💜
