Our Story

In the summer of 1998, Owner and Chief Instructor, Philip Hayes opened Mobile, Alabama’s ATA Martial Arts. In the beginning we started as part-time Taekwondo Club, holding classes two nights a week in a dance studio. Over the years we grew into a full time, professional martial arts school. Over the last 20+ years we have developed 100’s of Black Belts along the Gulf Coast, including many State, District, and World Champion martial artists. Now known as MAX3 Training, we have multiple locations and focus on using martial arts to promote character building, athletic development, and black belt excellence!
