Congratulations to former MD assistant coach Jacob Tutterow as His Garner team won the NC state Championsjp.

Congratulations, Charles Kurfees, on your induction as the 2025 Class of the NC American Legion Baseball Hall of Fame.

The ceremony was held tonight in Gastonia hosted by the Gaston Braves.

Kurfees played for MD Legion, has coached MD Legion teams, and has served as team manager.

We are grateful to his decades of dedication to our program.

In his speech, he reminds us that at the end of the day, it's important to be remembered not by Baseball wins and losses but of the lives we touched along the way.

He also mentioned that his father, Sonny Kurfees, is also a member of the NC American Legion Baseball Hall of Fame. This makes them (we think) the first father and son to both recieve this achievement of a lifetime.

Let's give it up for Coach Kurfees!!!! Let's go, Mocksville-Davie American Legion Baseball!!!

What a season. ⚾

While our Mocksville-Davie Junior Legion team earned the opportunity to compete in the North Carolina State Championship, unforeseen circumstances will prevent us from participating.

Although this isn't how we hoped the season would end, we couldn't be more proud of what this team accomplished. From the first pitch to an incredible run to the State Championship, these players represented our community with heart, determination, and class.

To our families, coaches, volunteers, sponsors, and the countless fans who packed the stands, cheered us on, and supported us every step of the way—thank you. Your encouragement meant more than you know.

Thank you for an unforgettable season. We are proud to be Mocksville-Davie.
