From the very first meet to the Meet of Champions, Steven has been a force to be reckoned with! 🏆 Week after week, he consistently found himself at the front of the pack, earning 1st place in nearly every race he entered all season long.

This weekend was the perfect way to cap off an incredible summer—bringing home the 6 & Under Boys High Point Championship at the Meet of Champions! 🥇🌟

Steven’s hard work, determination, and love for racing have been inspiring to watch. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for this little speedster. Congratulations on an unforgettable season, Steven—you’ve made your Maverick family so proud! 💙🖤🌊

Our Modesto Mavericks 6 & Under Relay Team raced their hearts out at the 2026 Meet of Champions and brought home 🥇 1st Place!

These four young athletes showed what the Maverick spirit is all about—courage, determination, teamwork, and believing in one another. Watching them cheer each other on, trust one another, and finish as champions was something truly special.

💙🌊 As We Close the Chapter on an Incredible 2026 Season… 🌊💙

As our 2026 summer season officially comes to a close, we’re taking one last look back at the memories that made this year so unforgettable.

This season was about so much more than swimming laps or racing to the finish. It was about the excitement of race day, the joy of achieving a new personal best, the confidence built with every practice, and the pride that comes from accomplishing something you once thought was impossible.

It was about friendships that started behind the blocks, laughter shared between races, cheering each other on from the sidelines, and creating memories that will last a lifetime.

What an incredible season it has been! We celebrated first-time swimmers discovering their love for the sport, returning swimmers reaching new milestones, countless personal bests, heat winners, High Point champions, team records being broken, unforgettable invitational performances, and ultimately bringing home the 2026 MVSL League Championship during our 10th anniversary season. What an amazing accomplishment for every Maverick!

But beyond every ribbon, medal, and trophy, our greatest victory has been watching these young athletes grow—not only as swimmers, but as teammates, leaders, and friends. Their determination, resilience, sportsmanship, and heart are what truly define the Modesto Mavericks.

To our coaches, volunteers, board members, officials, timers, sponsors, and every family who dedicated countless evenings and weekends to this team—thank you. Your support, commitment, and love for this program are what make the Modesto Mavericks such a special place.

Although our 2026 Modesto Mavericks season has come to an end, we know many of our swimmers aren’t quite ready to get out of the water! 💙

If your child is looking to continue building their skills, endurance, and confidence this fall, the Turlock Aquatic Club has fall registration still available. It’s a wonderful opportunity to stay active, continue improving, and keep the love of swimming going!
